but thats it though, if thats all a boxer can bring in to a mma fight, he's at a big disadvantage. dont get me wrong either, i love boxing, i grew up loving it. there are plenty of mma athletes that have boxing in their background, randy couture for example was a boxer in the army. if a boxer an mma fighter were to box eachother, then yeah the boxer has the advantage depending on experience, training etc...

there are a lot of mma fighters who earn their respect because they are just great fighters

i mean mixed martial arts came from what..MIXED* martial arts

karate- judo- jui-jitsu-muay thai, whatever style...so obviously they have stand up, but i meant in this particular video i saw a lot of "lack of technique"

but of course MMA fighters have the upper hand

There are lots of good boxers fighting MMA. I personally believe that Boxing is essential for MMA. But a pure boxer would simply be taken to the ground and submitted.

dont be so ignorant, mma has plenty of excellent strikers. mma has so much more advantage over a boxer....they got the hands, legs, head, knees, elbows, and the ground advantage. the boxers wouldnt know what hit em!! mma training is way more intense than a boxers....hands down
