  • Sporty

  • why its not the full stock version is it the mauser sporter ?

  • Man how much did this riffle cost you?

  • @TheMattyccc

This rifle is not mine but when I heard the story about it, the rifle was brought back by a relative after ww2 ended.

The rifle had the swastika/eagle stamp on it which was really cool.

  • @jasonjinx Ah right because I was talking too someone who owned a Kar98k with the swatstika on it and he was saying there so expensive because after the war the russians filled all markings off the riffles

  • @jasonjinx I wish my gramps brough back an arisaka or something japanese from alaska. Oh well ive seen some other stuff he had though.

  • The rifle isnt a sniper any more. Mabey you can restore it....

  • I received the rifle like this. It still has the original Eagle and Swastika stamps on it. Been offered a pretty penny for this gun.

  • not a sniper

  • that's sporterized, there's no historical value in a sporterized rifle, it just ruins it.

  • True.

  • That isnt a cutted down original stock. Its a modern sportings stock.

  • what makes this a mauser k98 sniper rifle ? just looks like a cut down mauser k98

  • How somebody could destroy original stock?!

  • Still, a lot of fun to shoot. I'll bet the recoil is noticeably higher with all the wood and two barrel bands missing from the rifle.

  • It's not "sniper issue", it's just an ordinary German k98 that some American cut the stock down in order to convert into a deerhunting rifle.

  • reminds me of COD5 sniper rifle :)
