my wii is bricked because developing a csm i have a wii 3.2 and is used a 4.2 theme and if i turn my wii on i just see a green purple screen can anyone please help me??

@AnnaMP36 no it doesnt but it does require some reading up and genral idea of flashing the system menu its an advanced hack and can brick your wii if its not applied properly simple as that....so if your prepared with recovery tools have fun but if not....id pass on these type of hacks ...that said i leave the rest up 2 you im not tech support i just helped make the themes

I'm having a problem installing the CSM using the MyMenuify Gui Homebrew App.

I used NUS downloader to install system menu 3.2u wad.

I proceeded to use this and decrypt (I have key.bin and cert) so now I have the 0000042.app or whatever.

I use the PC MyMenu and I patch the .app file with a MYM.

I put the .csm file on my SD card but the MyMenuify says it cannot install the file.

What do I do?

yes but you need a 4.2 ORIGIINAL 000000XX.app if you dont know how to obtain that using nus you prob dont need to be doing THE MOST RISKY form of wii hacking (system menu hacking with CSM and .app files carry as much or more risk that a wad file while i enjoy making them you are responsible for using the files properly i wont hold anyones hand the data is available at the sites the mods were created for YOUTUBE is NOT that site you guys are on your own USE GOOGLE

Prob cant help you i just tried and you sure as HELL havent got the original 000000XX.app from nus downloader in that amount of time...You cant just use any god damn app file you have lying around or your gonna brick your wii...If you cant read the posts then i cant help you...WADDER WIKI tells you "how to" step by step full documentation if you cant do that dont use themes or get them from some assholes posting them illegally...

yeah read before you posts...use wadder wiki and learn to read and you will be fine you dont install the MYM....you create a .app from it ...i wont write tuts or teach you to read only provide the resources for you and if you dont care to read than miss out because i dont care for people using FLASH RELATED MODS WHEN THEY HAVENT A CLUE...do you have brick protection? sounds like your gonna need it for your lack of will to read up on MYMENU at WADDER WIKI

its on page 2 of the CHANNELS section at WADDER you know the place where the TOO:LS WERE MADE TO MAKE ANIMATED CHANNELS POSSIBLE for us homebrewers...yes hiding in the most obvious place i guess....

OLDER FW WILL INSTALL THE CSM

HOWEVER YOU MUST USE THE SAME FW AS YOUR BASE

ive made more themes than you have i guarantee that and i can tell you IF YOU USED A 4.1ORIGINAL 000000XX.app as the BASE FILE in MYMENU....

you WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS IT ONLY REPLACES THE TPL IT CAN IN THE MYM.INI

just use a proper base and your FINE!

Its all about a few MYM.INI adjustments to make THEME TEAM CSM WORK we dont make them like softmii our WORK

because we distribute MYMS (these are WINrar associated files that ONLY have PNGs and brylts ect in them these are VERY CUSTOMIZABLE not hard to edit at all infact open any theme MYM with WINRAR and extract the contents then edit a PNG file and drag it in the MYM you will see the change will be reflected that easily...

THE ONLY TIME YOU HAVE PROBLEMS IS WHEN YOU DONT USE A NUS DOWNLOADED ORIGINAL APP FILE AS YOUR BASE

MYMENU is what you need...it created .app or .csm files FROM MYM FILES...

MYM files are just to PATCH SYSTEM MENU 000000XX.app files to have a specific theme ;)

use MYmenu to create a CSM from the .mym you would like to apply...you will need to source an original 000000XX.app using NUS downloader...DO NOT USE DOWNLOADED 000000XX.apps from random websites or you will likely brick your console for your haste...USE NUS downloader and if you cant handle that DONT USE CSM AT ALL because there are risks in channel and csm installs (flash related hacks are at risk of bricks INSTALL PRELOADER b4 you even THINK ABOUT IT! bootmii wouldnt hurt either ;))

it means your original 000000XX.app file is shit and you need to get NUS downloader and get a good one as a Base.app...Also be SURE TO HAVE RECOVERY TOOLS BECAUSE YOU DIDNT READ B4 YOU EXECUTED...go to wadder wiki to read up....

Dont just use one you found on the net...im tellin you RIGHT NOW you better install preloader b4 any CSM's..IF you say grab a 000000xx.app from say SOFTMII and its already a theme....then you apply a MyM...its MAT WORK for a few MYMS but you WILL EVENTUALLY BRICK YOUR WII because you didnt want to use an original .app file...I would strongly encourage you to install preloader AND BOOTMII (not one or the other but BOTH thats the best bet) because youll find you will brick w/out an original.app ;)

use NUSdownloader 1.1a to get a original 00000001.app from nintendo's servers...NUS is a free app for your PC to do just this...Get your original .app YOU SHOULD ONLY USE ORIGINAL>APPS AS BASE>APP FOR ALL MYM FILES...
