Hi Chris - You'd be surprised to know who this is (Sqaaak), & I hope you'll forgive me for correcting you on the arranger-credit for the choir on the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want": it was not Paul Buckmaster, but the late great Jack Nitzsche. PB was the arranger on The Stones "Moonlight Mile" & "Sway", from "Sticky Fingers". In any event, love your original songs & the others you cover so beautifully in your forthcoming album, & wish you all the best, and great success.
Yes!!! You have to come back to the Kline!!! That would be amazing!!! And when you do, I need to like find out as soon as you know so i can get front row seats!!!
I have to say hearing the strings. Makes me want to pee! It sounds that good! No better than good, It sounds awesome! I love when songs have an orchestra in them. It helps to bring out the emotion the lyrics are trying to emote. Still would love to hear City of Fire done this way. Hearing some of the new songs was great too! So were they video taping something for, I don't know a bonus DVD about the making of the album? :) I really can't wait to hear the new stuff and the updated songs.
oh god it sounds AH-MAZING! i am seriously thrilled for you, and for the albumn coming out! the strings sound beautiful, and, of course, so does your voice. <3
Sounding good Chris! I can't wait to hear the album.. Truly hope we can do some music together in the (near;-) )future.. Good luck and most of all have fun tomorrow at sundance
It's pretty exciting getting to see some of the final touches be put on the album. I think the orchestra is probably the most beautiful part in most songs, too. So, really dude. Super duper big congratulations. Can't wait. Woo!
Hey Chris, any news on how to get the song "Slow"?
