Hannan should look at the widespread electoral fraud in 2004 in America such republican city councils orchestrating long que lines at polling stations to discourage people to vote and a low turn out in certain areas benefiting George Bush
Democracy is a sham, no country country is a true democracy
How many people voted for the Iraq war ? or 3 billion dollars in Aid to Israel ? a country which ignores American demands to not build houses on Palestinian land
The greatest reason that EU supporters seem capable of making for Britain staying in The EU seems to be based largely on our inadequacy in Britain to stand alone due to the MASSIVE and malign damage membership has already done to Britain.
If someone deliberately and sequentially cuts your fingers is it wise to remain as they cut your throat?
Leave-The-EU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE membership costs £48M a day!!
YOUR Politicians and Civil servants have betrayed YOU.
*YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Small Firms Association, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
Did you see the 'madam president' ready to cut him off with her gavel? MEPs have a maximum of three minutes to speak in a 'debate'. Usually, they get one minute. How can you have a debate if you have only one minute to speak? All you can come up with is soundbites. The EU is undemocratic and totalitarian and we need to get out NOW. As a first step, vote UKIP in the June election.
"Ordinary voters unversed in the peculiar idiom of the EU might not understand those words as we in this house do to mean creating a new propaganda buget to try and convince people to change their minds"
`Taking money from the taxpayer ´...according to an EU commissioner in this week's Der Spiegel magazine, `Europe's capital city ´ will be getting a facelift !
The EU plans to spend billions of OUR money on huge new complexes in Brussels. Included in the plans are an extra 300,000 square metres of office space for the un-elected commission !
`There are no plans for a European super state ´.
But there again `The commission respects the Irish NO vote ´...!
I love his Latin and quotes! I am not blessed with any such degree (I studied film for crying out loud) and half my education was in the American public schools (a term which apparently is the opposite in the UK?), and I don't think it's alienating. I think it's very interesting. I too was wondering what he keeps saying at the end of every speech. Now that I know, I think he is fifty times more awesome.
@Anthony1525 He says "The treaty of Lisbon must be put to a referendum." at the end of every speech. It is a reference to Cato the Elder always saying "Cartago delenda est" or "Carthage must be destroyed" at the end of every speech in the Roman senate, even if he wasn't talking about Carthage. Eventually Rome did raze Carthage to the ground in the Punic wars.
I think it's a nice touch, and I hope Mr. Hannan keeps up the fight.
This guy is great! And I predict... he would and quite easily could become priminister of the UK if only he would stop the public schoolboy latin and poetry quotes within his speaches. I m sure the ordinary man not blessed with a latin degree and public education looses interest and feels alienated by this type of oratation.
dan, (or his secretary), could you please provide a translation for the latin, as some of us didn't pass the latin exam in 1st year and had to do classics instead!

@munkyluvpig I love it. But I'm a yank with a few degrees, so I can understand if I'm not exactly in the majority. =)

He says "Pactio Olisipiensis censenda est" wich means "Lisbon Treaty must be put on referendum" and mimics Plato The Elder "Cartago Delenda Est"
