The solos in the Sega CD version were drastically changed for the worse. They lack melody and feeling. The original Turbo Duo version is best IMO. Sure the production is a bit better quality on the sega cd version, but that doesn't make a song great.
Fuck yes! This is from the Sega CD version is it not? I forgot what level it was from though, still, this song rocks the house, it's one of my favorites from the game.
this is definitely the sega version. i have both turbocd and sega versions. personally i prefer the turbocd version because it sounds a lot rougher/heavier. the sega version has a lot more synth in it, it's smoother. the turbo has a lot more distortion, but I prefer that.
Different strokes for different folks then I guess, I realized this is from the stage known as "Bosque" in the game, I actually feel this one has a ton more oomph, and better production values behind it, something the original version seems to kinda lack for me.
It's like comparing Dimmu Borgir's original Stormblast, to their 2005 remake, for me it's no contest, the 2005 remake blows the original version sky high. However, some might disagree with that. That's fine by me.
i love this game so much! i can never beat 3 levels in a row on normal, this game kicks my ass, i love track 2, 9, and 11 the most.
