I understand her fear but I would so do it! Then when I'm falling just scream out all that doubt or whatever the hell I might be feeling! So epic skydiving!
@DzekoVelez There is no annual salary. It per jump basis, it really depends where in the world you will be jump. But if this is what you want to know: no, it doesn't pay your bills...
What's better, skydiving alone (you and your friends have individual parachutes) or with someone (strapped to them). I would have thought alone would feel more free.
I'm a little surprised he is giving out instructions in the plane just before the jump .. it would just freak you out more ... usually your supposed to instruct them while at ground. not sure if he already did ...
I realy want to skydive,I dk what people feel when theyre doing this but I think this would be so awesome to feel such a large amount of extazy and freedom and falling so fast, when theres nobody just you in the air, almost flying,cool...
Who the hell wouldn't be a little scared or at least nervous. Your jumping out of a plane going 100+ mph 14,000 feet off the ground. Even the people who have 5000 jumps get a little nervous. Its good though because when your nervous or scared you take it more seriously and remember you can actually die.
@applesweeter Being a skydiver yourself (I am a student yet but do jump alone).....there is nothing as motivating as knowing you "hold your life in your own hands." It feels better than anything else I've ever done....including sex.
Well guys, got in 2 jumps Sunday, first was a practice throwout and the second one I threw my own pilot 'chute. No freaking out this time.....going for 4 to 6 jumps in a couple of weeks. This chick I brought with me was TERRIFIED but now that she has seen it she wants to go. Go figure! :-)
At the beginning of the video she kinda irritated the crap out of me.. but I guess it's understandable, but it wouldn't have been fun for the instructor and the other people on the plane though!
Quake 120 is RIGHT! I have 3 tandems, 8 solo jumps. My last one was a "clear and pull" and I was so scared I had a full on out-of-body experience and saw myself pull out the pilot chute! Perfect jump though and I will do it again!
I will be doing my first tandem skydive next month, and this vid and others like it are really helping to pysch me up. Seeing so many people do it despite their fear and land on the ground whooping for joy is like therapy!
Yes, I jumped! No hesitation either, and according to the tandem instructor and my sister, very little outward nerves!
They made me an awesome DVD. We tried to upload it to YouTube, but the music got caught in the copyright filter. If Warner Music ever gets its deal done with YT, we will try to upload it again.
ok every one who says shes a pussy well you try standing at the door way and looking down at the ground below like 40,000 feet under u and jump out its the scarest but most fun feeling ever
Doubt you actually have jumped considering you don't even know the appropriate jumping altitude. You'd freeze to death before you'd get even close to the ground at 40,000'. Also, there aren't many pressurized civilian aircraft that are capable of carrying jumpers and releasing them, which means they can't even go above 13,000' or so.
After i did my skydive, i just had this rush all day long. When i saw the door open, although i didnt yell "no no no" like the girl, i definately was thinking "no no no" But the second my feet left the plane, i felt at such peace. When you land on the ground, you are just so amazed that you just jumped from a plane.
When I did mine in May this year from 14,000 feet I was absolutely shitting myself.
In my video you see me going towards the open door and say "Im scared"...which I was!
But I had no choice in the matter and ended up doing it and it was the most exhillirating experience of my life so far. I do not regret it. Though I look back at the photos and think..wtf...whoever does this is mental.
I'm sure i've done stuff you would hesistate too do. Different people have different tolerances to what bothers them, if does not make you brave if you have no phobia of heights to do a sky dive. Go and do something extreme you fear and then call others names.
I have done 2 tandems now, first one I was nervous on the ground, but felt better in the plane (the adrenaline started to kick in!)
Second one I was stoked, but still a bit nervous!
"Without hesitation" doesn't mean ANYTHING because the instructor was jumping out FOR you. I guarantee on your first AFF jump when you are going to be with your own parachute, you will be shitting your pants.
Quake, that's how it happened with my sister. Her first AFF jump, she was spinning out of control. The vid's on YouTube--just you look up "Mary Park Skydive Trouble AFF Level 3" (or something close to that).
Hey did my first aff a little while ago. I jumped with ZERO hesitation again and loved it. Definately did not shit my pants lol. Skydiving fucking rocks! Just too damn expensive for me as a broke ass college student.
@peilthetraveler Dude, that's exactly it. I'm a student skydiver on solo status and when I exit the plane, I am perfectly calm. No matter how unstable I am.
I jumped last week in California, it cost me 200 american for my first jump. Just me and an instructor. We jumped at 13k feet, so you can go higher or lower. depends on where you go to do it.
She's really cute. OK! Let me get back on track here. What is it with people who are afraid to do anything physical? I was talking with this chick last night and I honestly lost all interest in her when she flat-out refused to ski. Of course she thinks skydiving is nuts too. WTF?
That's true, but only in their minds though. The whole idea really is crazy....climbing out of the plane is still what gets me, oh and I do often wonder if everything will work correctly. Even with all that in mind, I haven't hesitated any time the door opened. :P
Most pilots do not wear parachutes. We'd actually prefer to guide our planes down if nothing else to prevent it falling on someone below. How would you feel if a pilot jumped out and his plane landed on your family and killed them?
the same, even though its the most insane feeling, i will jump out of a plane no worries, but put me at the top of a ladder and its a different story lol
@Kopihucky I have the same problem lol... ladders, freakin hate them, roof top, you`d never make me go op on a roof top....lol.. but like real heights - no problems... :) lol :)
@Kopihucky I'm the same way dude....I am a skydiver and I HATE being on a pitched roof. Broke my leg on the last jump, my fault, but I will be back ASAP!
Yea, but watch closely how he was looking down, holding his wang right after he unhooks her. He doesn't even walk over to congratulate her. He just turn around and walks away
ahhh clear skies, dere so lucky! i did it with heavy enuf clouds so i cudnt c the ground until about 4,500 feet i think, but it was cool going thru such heavy clouds not knowin what was the other side or how close the ground was, and no i didnt get soaked by the clouds!

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we love sky diving?
(2) What does sky diving so enjoyable compare to flying an aeroplane?
(3) What do females enjoy sky diving? and what does attract females to sky dive?
(4) How does sky diving benefit a females emotional health and personal development?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for creative idea and brainstorm!!! :)
applesweeter 2 years ago
(1) Explaining why do we love skydive would be as hard as explain why someone loves chocolate.
(2) Skydive compares do fly airplane, as swim or dive compares to ride a boat.
skydiverleo 2 years ago 3
To: skydiverieo
If sky diver love sky diving similar to loving chocolate, it must be a mixture for enjoyment and fun.
So, as a sky diver yourself, can you define the elements of joy and happiness of sky diving in your view point, please?
I am happy to actively listen to you.

@applesweeter
this is just my point of view...
1. I guess because skydiving proves that you are a risk taker.
2.the ability to move your body in 3D, flying a plane won't provide you that experience
3. i guess girls skydive to show they are fearless
4. to relieve stress and to feel the freedom of floating in the air
