@N9olan flexible parts cannot transmit feesable amounts of torque for extended periods of time without wearing out. Audi tried flexible drive shafts to allow different suspension geomatries but they quit the project for the aforementioned reason.
??? The shafts that are connected to the wheels and differentials have flexible parts on them. Flex joints I think they are called and or remember the flexable rubber joints are-all cars have them.

good video except at 1.06 where the jeep turns all 4 weels at a 90 degree angle.
It's stupid because you cannot turn an axle (wheel axle) at a 90 degree angle because it blocks.

1. It is functionally possible because of the flex like shafts that can be used.
2. Longetivity depends on the quality of parts.
