lololololol, yes, if you install the "master server patch" (download form AvP2 Files) you can still play AvP2 online (not sure about the primal hunt, but i'd say no)

In Primal Hunt multiplayer, you can prompt the self destruct only if you are very injured (only the last 9 pred symbols,i think)

You can do that by pressing the related key (default P) lol, but it's nothing more like a big fart, monolith didn't put too much efforts in making a proper selfdestruct effect... X-P

That's a reference weapon to the ornamental dagger from the AvP movie...i introduced it to the game for a quick head-ripping use, it's not too good into fighting situations.

I have no idea...AvP2 was released on early 2001 and the Primal Hunt expansion pack...well, i don't even remember.

But i think you can find both of them on E-bay for a low-price.

I'm pretty sure AVP2 is only for PC.

But there are several AVP games wich run on other systems, like AVP-R for PSP and AVP Extinction for PS2 and X-BOX.

The only thing that made sniper over powered is that its fatal no matter where you shoot most classes. But assuming the shot is torso or higher, having a 1 shot kill Sniper is not completely unrealistic..

Yeah, but it still overpowered by my mind, that's why i dumbed down a bit all cheap weapons, pred weapons included.

Balanced gameplay is more important than realism in this and in most of my MODs :-P

I never played modded versions of AVP2 online, but i think it should go like this...

You need a bunch of friends with your same mod running, then, you have to host a INTERNET GAME (set a session name wich could be familiar to your friends, e.g. RAIDER'S TALE) and tell them to join your GAME.

That was very true in the un-modded game, especially for what concerns the homing weapons and that OVERPOWERED Sniper Rifle, this MOD tries to balance those things, and adds new skins, sounds, weapons, characters etc...

Is called Long Dagger, and i simply added it to the game along with other 2 pred weapons (the VanGuard Sword and the Shoulder Blaster)

This is the beta version, and is already out on AvP2Files.

A new version is going to be released soon, featuring improved sound\graphichs effects and a couple of new weapons for the humans ;-)

In this MOD, both aliens and predators gain cool skins, sounds, and tweaked weapons/attacks.

Rope?

There's no pred's rope in AvP2 (the game), predators use to fire nets, wich can engulf enemies smaller than a Praetorian for a short while.

BTW, this MOD has been updated form the release of this video ;-) it's close to completion.

You gotta know...

The only thing i do on my skins is to apply graphical filters, adjusting tones, lighting and basical stuff...this is why i never touch Rine's or Corp's skins in AVP2: they are too complicated for me, but i am pretty good with aliens's and preds's.

P.S.

Although this, in the AVP TIME RAIDERS MOD there are some Hooman's skins made by me :-D

Dude, i am afraid i will hardly complete this MOD, for two reasons...

1- X-Mandalore-X (the Avp file's site admin) seems to be not more interested into my MODS, since he did not replied to my 3 last e-mails.

2- This is the least complete MOD of mine's, as you may notice from the last static screen in the video, this MOD is just 40% completed.
