The CompTIA A+ certification would be a great starting point for you as an IT Technician. It will get your foot in the door with a great company, and they will pay for you college! So be smart about it, and take the proper steps to get educated..Im currently A+ Certified, hold a CST (Computer Support Technician) Certificate/Diploma, and work with Geek Squad. Not a bad turn around for 10months of hard work:-).. Best of luck to you.
if you plan on going with comptia, you will definitely need network+ certification. As for me, Im going to graduate next fall with an associate degree in IT Support along with my H.S. Diploma, A+, Network+ and MOUS certifications. I hope that I will get a job fairly shortly after graduation.
These videos are great if you just want to listen to some crappy music!!!

I want to get into computer networking administration but I wanna know if I should get an Associates or a Bachelors.
Do you think I should take a computer repair career certificate course first.
What other certifications do you recommend?
