First time I ever heard a Priest tune was in 1980. I could tell immediately that this band had most forgettable rhythm section. Plus, there has never been a band worth a damn in history of rock with an unremarkable drummer (just try listening an ACDC album with Simon Wright). I decided to give them another listen after all this time and my original opinion has been confirmed once more. Could someone please explain why anyone would consider JP to be a great band? They simply are not.

Priest took and continue to take a lot of flak for Turbo, but had they released it with Ram It Down as a double album as originally intended, I think it would be both better accepted and understood by the metal community in general and Priest fans specifically. Slower, more pop-oriented songs have always been a part of a Judas Priest album, all the way back to Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny.
