It wasn't intended to be racist and it doesn't look like he wanted to insult anyone. That's the key difference, right? He's impulsive and passionate and prone to mistakes. Maybe it's the intent, or forethought. He's running down a corridor, having a great time (by the looks of things) expecting to see photographers. I wouldn't say there's any malice.

Construction then wasn't as advanced as it is today; you see Chelsea's stadium and it's top class but that was renovated in the 90s. Back to Goodison. As you probably already know, Goodison wasn't exactly placed in a spacious area so they had to cram everything in.
