my sister passed away february of '09. This is the song that was played to a montage of her accomplishments.... She managed to obtain her pilots license, be a Calgary Stampede Princess, volunteer for two years for the YMCA camp Erdman in Hawaii for Disadvantaged kids, volunteered for two years at the Tim Horton's Children's camp in Kananaskis, started a degree at The university of Calgary, and somehow managed to outperform and outdue any bar ever set to her.... I'm the youngest of two girls. I'm 18 and I'll always be my daddy's little girl.
In 2007 my dad lived in Farmington, NM, and I lived in Pagosa Springs, CO. My parents were temporarily separated, and I was living with my grandparents. My dad worked his ass off Mondays through Fridays and every weekend, he would drive two hours to Pagosa to pick me up, and take me back to the ranch he was living on. We heard My Little Girl come on the radio one weekend, and now it's our song. :) <3 I love him!

my sister passed away february of '09. This is the song that was played to a montage of her accomplishments.... She managed to obtain her pilots license, be a Calgary Stampede Princess, volunteer for two years for the YMCA camp Erdman in Hawaii for Disadvantaged kids, volunteered for two years at the Tim Horton's Children's camp in Kananaskis, started a degree at The university of Calgary, and somehow managed to outperform and outdue any bar ever set to her.... I cry uncontrollably when I hear this lately. When I was little, I loved this song. I used to think that when I got married, this would be the song I danced with my dad to. Then, when my parents divorced, he became controlling and abusive. I just wish I had my dad back.....

I love this song so much. Im 23 and my dad still calls me his little girl and says how it feels like it was just yesterday he and my mom were bringing me home, or i said dada for the first time, took my first steps. This is probably the most played song at weddings for dancing with your dad, but it is for a reason. I love my dad so much! <3

@Sllucky30 ... srry this is still part of the other one... til June 5th and she goes back to her mom on the 25th her dad only got her for 20 days this summer i grew up til 5th grade thinking my birthdad didn't care about me didn't want me i cry almost every night when i think of that i found out in December that he didn't want to give me up but he was only 17 so he had to they had to wait for him in the office where they were signing the papers and i feel bad for you...

@Sllucky30 I live your life ... I know how you feel. I dont feel bad for you cu sometimes. Ones like us, make it out alot better.. I just turned 17 and ive lived with my gma my entire life and now realizing that i wouldnt have gotten as far as i have today with out her.

@Sllucky30 im sorry i was an accidental baby and i live with my dad and im pregnant and due in oct. 15th and my life is nothing my lil girl kaydence mackynzeigh wont have her daddy as he recently died in a car wreck and my life has been hell since i llost my fiance best friend and my babys daddy

@soblondie777 that sounds so much like my dad =) except.. my dad had a one way ticket to Iraq =( he died when i was 10 and im 13 now. never got 2 say goodbye =( but thats okay cause i know hes right there next to me
