  • What was that last song called. The one with the wha-wha sound.

  • @Rajonty deep inside

  • Dude! Can u please answer a question about what it doing.? My looping does not cue directly after unarming . Y ? ! Great video

  • Thanks for actually being a performer.

  • One tear just ran down my face. Haahaa, That was so tight bro!

  • inpirational, i am working with live bongos and its sounding live :)

  • woww , i love it , i am trying to get Ableton now ... But you do it good ...

  • maybe because this vid was added 3 years ago? grow up idiot.

  • mad nice

    live is where its at

  • can you do this but using a usb controller (such as nanokontrol) instead of the midi foot pedal?

  • yeah

  • nice kitchen man

  • good acoustics :P

  • greeeeat

  • 0:42 - 0:45 Prodigy Beat

  • maybe

  • Pretty awesome

  • beardy man is better

  • Reggie Watts owns you

  • In direct response to this one, Reggie Watts is undeniably a better singer and improviser, but KB would whoop Reggie's ass in a beatboxing contest any day of the week.

  • dub fx just found a rival.. amazing skills.

  • On that midi key combo thing..... I found a use in the opposite direction.....

POS keyboards, made for stores are programmable so that any single key can send key combinations. I then have a custom MIDI-OX plugin which converts complex key combinations into MIDI signals.

  • unfortunately midi yoke isn't working for my vista setup. works fine with my xp setup. Anyone using midi yoke on vista? if so let me know how you did it.

  • Not sure but LoopBe1 might help, it's a kernel level driver for MIDI loopback. Less jitter then non-kernel based ones.

  • Just downloaded LoopBe1. It says it's not only vista capable, but apparently is windows native, for extra low latency. Hope it works as well as Midi Yoke does with XP. I"ll let you know

  • I use it for running my timecode around and have found it to be the most reliable as far as latency/jitter.

  • dear jeebus X_X

  • This Kid is Beyond good!!!!

  • Not bad at all!!

Check my new track! "Get get down" :p

I did it with Ableton live and some VSTI

  • He kindof looks like John Locke from Lost.

  • dope!

  • AMAZING!!!

  • que hdp !!!!!!

  • Wow amazing = )

  • genius

  • fucking amazing.

  • dope!

  • The guy's mouth is a orchestra!

  • WOW

  • I remember one of his best songs he dedicated to a friend I believe it was a woman that lost hr life. But I just thought that that gave that persons spirit more love than ever.

  • Dude this guy was fucking amazing with Buckethead!!! a true show starter!

  • sueprrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbbbb!!!!

  • Whats the benefit have having 8 outputs and only 2 inputs?

    <Beginner

  • It didn't cost as much money as a card with 8 inputs ;) Also, if you've only got the one mouth... or, less stupidly, if you typically only record one stereo sound source or two mono's at a time, why pay for more inputs? You might want separate outputs to send different tracks to different external effects, different channels in a mixing desk, etc etc. If he's wise, he's chosen a FW410 because it suits his workflow.

  • I have an RME Mutliface, 8 in 8 out. with 8 channels for ADAT. The internal mixer allows you to loop-back whichever channels you like. I have the 8 ADAT channels set to loopback, which gives me lots of low-latency routing options without having to use crappy VST based audio pipes.

Lots of uses for inputs other then plugging in gear........

  • Very talented and creative artist. Thanks

  • this has changed my life

  • a guy from portland, fogatron, does the same type of thing, with ableton live. he was the one who turned me on to live, when i was a little younger.good guy.

by the way, what audio interface is this?

  • M Audio FW410. I've got one. Two inputs, 8 outputs... it's cool, but I had a little trouble with it because on a laptop it needs an external PSU (unless you find a way to get 6-wire firewire out of the laptop)... so there's a slightly annoying ritual for plugging in and powering up.

  • YEah Dude, this is some illy shit bruv

  • Great artist

    Respect

  • SUPERB!!!! SIMPLY SUPERB! N surprisingly, contrary to my belief, the sound s pretty thick!

  • Fantastic!!

  • That was nice work!

  • yea FRISCO ^_^

  • hey, does any1 know what that piece of hardware he's using is called? the thing he's stepping on. cheers :D

  • It looks like it's a simlpe midi controller pedal. They're most often used for guitar rackmount effects switching. That one he had looks like a particularly trick example, tho!

    G

  • that shit is fresh!!!

  • omg

  • Really smart, really cool too

  • thats sooo hot1

  • this guy is absolutely brilliant!

a zillion times better than Blake Lewis.

  • better have a pretty fast as fuck computer I would hate to have my computer have a brain fart infront of all those people or even worse a crash!

  • a computer is just as realiable as a guitar, or mic or any other peice of hardware you bring on stag. The problem is when you do daily activities on the OS partition that you go on stag with. The solution is to create a a seperate OS partition and use it only for Studio, then It shoudl be highly predictable. the only time it may become unstable is when installing untested programs, in which case do a ghost image so you can revert back to a previous OS state, if some problem should arrise.

  • very dope!

  • WOW!

  • SICK STUFF!

  • mate thats unreal. your talented. keep up the good beats. respect

  • Wow that's the real shit isn't it. Fucking great!!!

  • i got a problem with ableton live 7 i hope you can help with when im tryin to loop vsti it records but there like 2 /3 seconds gap before the loops starts again ?

  • écouerant, tout simplement super.

    How you do that?!!!

    Pata

  • Too sweet! even CHUCK NORRIS couldn't do that!

and everyone knows he can do anything!

  • nice, he should be on Americas Got Talent

  • This is fricken sweet!!!!

  • tro bon

  • GGRREEEAAT!!

  • DAYUM!!! seriously dope!

  • very impressive.

  • Nevermind, I found out he is using a Ground Control Pro pedal. Bit Pricey. Think I'll go for the Behringer FCB1010 instead.

  • Does anyone know what pedal he is using? I need to get one and I like the amount of stomp buttons he's got going on there. I tried this method of looping earlier but I was using a guitar heroes guitar as the controller instead of a pedal. The looping worked fine but I think the USB of the controller and the USB for my audio interface (which plug in next to each other on my comp) dont like each other at all because it gave out some really bad interference type distortion on the tracks. Damn!!

  • Holy Crap, it's like Bobby McFerrin in Hell's Kitchen!

  • does anyone know what mac program he mentions does the same thing as midi translator? it sounds like he says "controlabe" but I can't make it out.

  • Controlaid i think it was, If you put 'controlaid mac' in yahoo search its there, V1.7 i think its on ;)

  • thanks!

  • this dude is fuckin insane!,, mate are ya fukin retarded? dude...he's Xtreme!! AWESOME man.

    peace..

  • i just love how he is doing it in his kitchen, please... step into my office

  • who needs band? Oh god, he's great!

  • great stuff ... who needs a metronome, MIDI, guitar, drumz ... really talented

  • i was so pissed when he didnt make the imogen dallas date a couple months back. I was really looking forward to it. Imogen does the same thing using loopback pedals as well. Amazing stuff

  • This is pretty sweet. I do the same style of live looping of vocals, guitars, and other stuff using 4 boss rc-20xl phrase recorders. Though I make "indie rock" heh. This seems like an awesome way of doing it because of all the other settings live has. Does this guy have some kind of specific info on his setup anywhere?

  • he was an opening act for Imogen Heap and did the beats for her songs as well...

He's amazing live. Go Kid Beyond!

  • what load of bollox, he ain't no beardyman or jamie liddel :P

nice work tho, to much talking tho ;)

    peace

  • two words:

    fucking

    awesome.

  • Is it possible to do this without the foot pedal?

  • are you retarded or something ?

  • No, of course not. But can anyone explain me how to do this..? (The live-looping) I don't understand the program yet.. :/

  • yeah you can do it without the pedal... just learn how ableton works you can use the keyboard to map keys or buttons but get a midi controller..

  • WoW!! Now thats Talent!!

  • outstanding, innovative - a new form

  • Amazing!! quality, you're the man!

  • actually, his human beatboxing skills are rather impressive, and this real-time loop manipulating is a great idea!! well done

  • excellent work m8... keep it up.

  • Amazing! I can only agree with the first comment;

    Keep breaking the limits!

  • holly s**t....I think I'm gonna build an altar for worshiping you man....AMAZING!!!!

  • Too bad he isn't coming to FL anytime soon :(

  • Now that's some WICKED beatboxing... and then some more!!! O_+

  • It's a shame that the audio on YouTube is so crap. This must sound a million times better in real life!

  • HOLY CRAP ! this is the revolution! keep on connecting with us and we'll support you as an artist! you've got a new fan Kid!
