  • make sure you're using 2.8 aperture for these types of shots. (:

  • this music is so beautiful. what is it called?

  • marley from ctfxc!

  • awww.. What a cute dog ;)

  • what is ISO? thanks :)

  • @jeehoondevil 100-200 iso

  • So if the aperture is lower, it will focus more on the foreground and if it is higher it will focus on everything?

  • @Auroraparkour yes sir.

  • @aznboymix559 : distance to the subject also affects the depth of field...

  • @aznboymix559 no, you are wrong. Bigger apertures let in more light, and use more of the lens (therefore, some of that won't be in focus). Smaller apertures use less of the lens but because of this, they focus in a greater fov. /wiki/Aperture . Just because F5 is a bigger number than F1.8, does not mean it's a bigger aperture. The hole size is increased with a smaller figure, thus, more light gets in.

  • @aznboymix559 it will have a tighter focus, so less in front of and in back of the center of its focus is in proper focus, not always the foregroud

  • @aznboymix559 100% WRONG....it will focus more on whatever you focus it on whether foreground or back ground doesnt matter, verses high aperture and everything in focus. Foreground & back ground has nothing to do with it.

  • @Auroraparkour He mis-informed you completely, he must be a noob camera user, but high or low aperture setting means it will focus more on whatever you focus it on whether foreground or back ground doesnt matter at ALL if set to low aperture number.. if its something in the back ground u want to focus on, it wil blur the foreground and focus on background sublject, and exactly the opposite if focused on subject in forground. If aperture is set on high number then everything will be in focus.

  • Hello, I rented this camera in hopes of trying before I buy. I guess I was naive about it's video AF capabilities. I couldn't get it to work at all. I was forced to use MF. Have you been able to get AF to work satisfactory while shooting video?

  • @tsitalon1

Af doesn't work on my camera either.

  • @aznboymix559 : you can't find the AF or you found it but not good? If i'm not wrong, to activate it... you have to switch AF in the lens then press the shutter button halfway for about 2 or 5 seconds i'm not sure. Try it.

  • @aznboymix559 : guys, pros use manual. use it otherwise buy a camcorder...

  • @aznboymix559 @tisitalon1 hey I just read your comment on AF focus in video you can change the setting in the menu. I have this camera and it works fine. :)

  • @aznboymix559 have you tried enabling AF during filming?

  • @tsitalon1: you can't find the AF or you found it but not good? If i'm not wrong, to activate it... you have to switch AF in the lens then press the shutter button halfway for about 2 or 5 seconds i'm not sure. Try it.

  • @tsitalon1 AF works, but most lenses or in low light it will take a second or so and throws off your shots. It's good for security if you are setting up for another scene or something, where you know that it can be cut in post.

  • Maybe I should really buy this camera? :)

  • great video

  • yes he did. if you know cameras then you will know the lower the f-stop or aperture setting the shorter the dof will be. generally.

  • @PhishMeister2002 It's not "generally" true - it's physics ;)

  • In your info, do you mean shallow depth of field?

  • @jpac83 sorry, typo.
