i am constantly amazed at the amount of people thru out youtube who seem to spend their time specifically seeking videos that they can disagree on....Anyway i love this lecture and from Moana and that he throws light on yet another pocket of my mind that i have allowed to become indoctrinated by propaganda and the colonial fallacy. hahaha..'once were lovers'..
discipline is part of our culture i was smacked when i was younger because i did somthing wrong and learnt a valuable lesson not 2 do it again i am stronger for it now and thank my parents 4 the discipline whereas smacking is now banned since then youth crimes have heightened my guess is lack of discipline as a child, im always seing on tv white parents crying because their children are disrespectfull and found their children were sent 2 their room instead of getting a wooden spoon 2 the bum.

@Epochofbelief so thats all you've got stating every negative statistic Maori own across the social milieu of NZ society and constantly taking giant leaps to paint all Maori as the purveyors of all evils this side of your white privilege - and then bagging every positive view of Maoridom as irresponsible negligence...get a clue Epoch...you've had your 30 secs of notoriety attained via your privileged mediocrity ...your ignorant ass is wasting everyone's time...
@8Footdread There is something unfathomable and ingrained in Maori culture that doesn't exist in any other. It is an emphatic denial that your race has issues, or at best a desire to blame those issues on another group. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that denial perpetuates the problem.
@Epochofbelief You have made the infinitesimally tiny leap from my opposition to your racism as a sign of denial. No one in Maoridom denies the ongoing negative impact of your culture Epoch on us - in fact most of us are getting on with the job of resolving the damage your culture has plagued society and the environment with globally - and we continue to do so while ignoramuses like your self stand on the sides slinging shit at everyones efforts - yours is the confusion and its value is zero.
@8Footdread "Ongoing negative impact of your culture on us" Exactly my point, your denial is endemic and self destructing. It is not European people torturing and killing Maoris babies. In fact we cherish ours and infanticide is unheard of. It's Maoris killing Maori babies and there no excuse other than you are a primitive, violent race with a propensity to harm the defenceless. An inherent trait you can never admit.
@Epochofbelief How worldly you are. So knowledgeable. As a Maori, today I intend to finish uni, rob a liquor store, kill a 'whitey', race home before work and cook and eat my new born, head to work so I can rip my employers off, duck in to the ATM so i can withdraw my dole and student allowance, Haka to the police man as he drives past, tend to my marijuana crop, smoke some P, rob your house and then sleep in my grass skirt in the local mob house.
@Epochofbelief "It is not European people torturing and killing Maoris babies. In fact we cherish ours and infanticide is unheard of". Whose in denial?? I think you have missed the point of Moana's talk here. Based on your analysis, middle class white men should all be strung up and shot as that group are with little exception, the profile of serial killers. Doesn't that make whites violent and primitive or is that just some 'bad apples'. And for the record Moana Jackson is no fool.
@8Footdread Maoris have the highest rate of abuse related child head trauma in the world. But of course that's a twisted, western statistical way of looking at it. Really it's just a Maori expression of love for their children. It's lucky us good white folks hold you accountable for such despicable acts, or I'm sure they'd be swept under the carpet.
Brilliant beyond words.

@8Footdread This fool is attempting to distort the truth. 18 of the last 20 child murders were commited by Maoris.
