Hockey is an awesom sport to play. It will never have the popularity of Football or the Sheer brutality of rugby (depends which division you play in)but it is in my opinion one of the world best team sports

All the schools in hio I know only offer field hockey for girls-because that's mainly who plays it. I play for my Juniour High, Foward inside left.

yea- mainly a women's sport. there aren't many club teams for guys or opportunities for boys/men to play. I think that California is a huge spot for the men's program. Basically, I think, there is just the National team for the men- some club teams probably but only on the west coast...
