  • what year was this in?

  • nikki sixx was a fan of this????thats kinda funny

  • i think i eat a pizza now loool

  • I'm in love with Steve!!!

  • marc bolan took the sixties into the seventies and started wearing make up i.e glam rock sweet, bowie , wizzard and others followed but just because gary glitter was a paedophile doesnt mean all glam rock was a bad era plus t-rex and sweet were great bands anyway.

  • This is for rus524 , how in the fuck would you know ANDY SCOTT had an affair with GARY GLITTER unless you were laying underneath licking there sacks , so why would someone as narrow minded as yourself know good music unless it walked up and kicked you in the ass SWEET is one of the all time british bands to come over and share it with us kids . If you think SWEET is a shite band then stay the fuck off there page , most people don't go to bands they don't like and call em down back off ASS

  • @baby69ization Andy Scott and Gary Glitter?! Interesting, but I'd bet not. Isn't Glitter into the REALLY young kids? I mean, isn't that why he went to prison? But more than anything else, why would anybody care whether there was or wasn't something going on there? It's the MUSIC that matters, right?

  • @endora60 Right you are and that's what most people care about now is who slept with who and what they do in there PRIVATE life of course glitter is a pedophile he went to jail for it and i do not condone it whatsoever but thats public knowledge , the fact is also that glitter did make some classic glam rock and this is a SWEET song so it really pisses me off when narrow minded people like rus 524 bring there private life into it , but you get it endora60 / Peace BABY

  • @baby69ization well said

  • @rus524 Oh, GET A LIFE!!!!!

  • great 70s group steve was a superb bass plyer

  • Lidt mere fra gammel tid :-)

  • I love Brian and his voice, I love Sweet !!!!

  • I'm like 21 years old and i love their songs!

  • 280,000 viewers confirm it: we love The Sweet. We could go on a wigged demonstration and it'd be a hell of a crowd. I got a multicolor vinyl with this song on it, i used to dance it on the beach, still dance it in my living room, mirror ball and all. thanx guys for the good good times.

  • Dear cable networks:

Here is what I want to see:

    1. The Sweet inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

    2. A Hollywood move about the fallen legend of Brian Connolly

    3. An A&E episode of the Last 24 Hours of Brian Connolly's life

    4. VH1 Classic's showing of various Sweet videos

    Thanks.

  • @pacmanindy If you know were to go counte me in.never seen anything from Sweet over here...and I been here for over 17 years.

  • I love this one... they played it all the time at the roller rink in the '70's...

Who cared what the song meant, I was 8.

  • It looks like this one is LIVE!! I LOVE LIVE!!

  • Amazing how they changed so much to a more glam rock look within a year of this track!

  • I still have no idea what they are saying! Who cares, Sweet made such feel-good music.

  • A good tune to dance to coming from U.K.'s top "bubble gum" musical group in the 70s.

  • @kaladist bubble gum my behind, have you heard anything else from them??? No, you could, keep looking you'll be surprised

  • These songs actually make much sense, lyrically, for the time. Due to the airlines in the UK having advanced mass passenger air travel during the 60's and 70's, excursions by Britains to sunnier climes in Spain, Thailand, etc. Imagining a trip to a place nearer the equator during the damp cold winter months was beginning to become more of a reality. Which I think would have lent

more of an approval for these types of songs.

  • SWEET

  • Love It!!!

  • Thank fuck for YouTube! I love seeing stuff like this!

  • Classic tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 The sweet live on forever

  • good start ... greatness beckons!

  • andy had the worst hair day in rock history this day...

  • my first ever record i bought from woolworths

  • OH-CHI-KAKA-OH

    CO CO !!!!!

  • i love all that 7os glam stuff-sweet, gary glitter, t.rex, slade-great songs & they look so funny in the clothes they wore

  • is this song relate to drogs?

  • the wawe of The Sweet swept in the 70:s and so in my childhood, but the members never played the instruments on these early 45":s, skilled listeners can hear that

  • seems 2 me like a zillion years ago I heard this... This lads, altogether with Kiss (@ the other side of the atlantic) were the ones who introduced me to the wonderful world or rock'n roll...

MIck and Brian, simply, the best!

  • the sweet were always the kings of glam rock, fantastic band

  • Another classic Sweet hit, thanks for the memories..many tks for posting..

  • San Juan de Miraflores ZONA B

  • ANNIE TE AMO MI AMOR --VICTOR- PERU

  • Brilliant.Simple as.

  • Happy Birthday, Brian...you're still a star!! :-)

  • ?!?!?!?!...Brian died in 1997 of leukemia.

  • leukemia????????,

  • blood disease

  • Lovely Summersong for sitting on the beach with a cocktail in your hand! But eventhough I like the "Summer-Beat",I love the Rock-songs they made a lot more!

  • Sweet forewer!

  • It's so sad to think that Brian Conolly is not around anymore. He was a great vovalist and his golden hair looks fabulous. yes it was something worth to keep in memory. They don't have like this anymore........sigh...snif sniff

  • Please, it was a great band in a great time, there is no need for that, realy. Lets enjoy the vids and music and accept other peoples flaws.

    thanks and good luck

  • Brians hair was to die for!!!

  • @missmarypickford I think you meant to dye for:-)

  • @bodsnvimto !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this kind of songs of Sweet!

  • Well unfortunately this is not one of their best is it?

Was a Sweet fan back them, still think they were a much better band than most give them credit for, but really, this isn't one to shout about.

  • By the way. Why do they call you CO CO?

    U-U-U-CACAO!

  • Be careful pal. It sounds like you have a disease or something by what you're saying about your anus and between your legs.

    Your friend...

  • Are you letting me know what you've got between your legs?

  • I got layed to this song around 77...1977 that is!

  • Great band !!! great song !!! loved this song ..its on my fav playlist... thanx great video ... Lyndloo...

  • what are you like 15 to not hear of them

  • hey! (i have know idea to whose comment your replying, sorry) i'm 15 and I've known them a few years ago and listen to them! even my dad was in new wave and has never heard of them and he's 51 (then again he lived vietnam, but still)

    *sorry for my horrible grammar

  • Yeah, such a great band that everyone must've heard of them.

  • These chicks rocked!

  • LOL

  • They were much better than Queen, but for some reason never got that big in this country. Mick Tucker was as good as Ian Paice, and Andy Scott was a red hot guitarist. When I saw them in Santa Monica in '76 Ritchie Blackmore sat in. he was a Sweet fan also. Brian was the best looking guy in rock, I think a lot of people were jealous of them.

  • Better than Queen. Is there another group by the name of Queen? Cause the Queen I know shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath with this "band".

  • IMO....these were ahead of Queen,...Queen were good, the Sweet better....its all down to choice.....both bands played great songs

  • this is MY BRIAN

  • @marial68 just have to say this, not only your brian :)

  • @Brianna1966 mine too !!!

  • I cannot get enough of Sweet....each one of the guys has his appeal, but I'm mesmerized by the red head ((Steve Priest :) ))

  • Tha chick on drums was great.

  • Where do you see a chick?

    That's no girl.

    That's Mick Tucker!

    He's my favorite.

  • AH on Ballroom blitz vid my god he looked like a girl big time i was jealous for awhile hahaa

  • THe red head for some reason he always looks nicer while dressed in the glam almost tricked me he was a girl on one of ther songs

  • Steve priest!

  • July 1971 the month and year I was born. Proud to say I was born in a great music era.

  • I used to buy all there singles / The SWEET were always top value for money and very underated / I missem bigtime !!

  • @tukoramerez not by us eh tukor!

  • @tukoramerez Right with you there friend.

  • Thanks for posting this - just love it!

  • This is one of my favorite songs from Sweet! I love watching them perform this song as well, there bring such and energy to it. It makes me smile! Love the drums! They all look great!

  • always makes me smile..=) i just love it!..

  • This song is fantastic!

  • Brian looks so very pretty in this one.

  • @MistikDarcness

    i agree with you n.n

  • @MistikDarcness Yeppers, he really does look stunning, doesn't he? Lovely guy, he was, in his younger days, before he ruined himself.

  • @endora60 shame that he ruined himself, he was indeed very pretty. its tragic and i'm still crying

  • @MsLucy2012 did not know the story what do mean by ruining his himself who cares his ,their music was fun and current !

  • @camilor1960 Yes the music and Brian both are wonderful and beautiful... but sadly drugs and alcohol is not pretty, and not good for the vocal cords either.

  • Oh ! Happy Days forgot about this one

    Su-Perb

  • having a 70's night lol love them all Dx

  • OMG !!!! gawjuss boys steves hair looks lovely but brian and andys hair looks gawjuss and brian looks so sexy in that outfit !!!

  • hey what about mick!?

  • yea mick was one of the most amazing drummers in all of england. he was the first to do the drumstick twirling

  • I just love this. I was just a couple of years behind my big sis when she was into these guy. It's her fault I still like them. Thanks for postin this.

    Click from N.Ireland

  • rip Brian you were brill x

  • Look for a DVD of the Sweet story produced by Creem/Weinerworld music made in 2003/2004.

Worth owning but some of the clips of the music were so short it drove me here to find the clips complete. They talk to Andy scott a great deal too.

  • Only in the 70s would you have a hit in the charts with a steel band in the backing...I'm Lovin' it

  • i like really much this kind of songs of sweet, co-co, poppa joe....

    fantastic band!

  • I lurve Brian!

  • Brian reminds me of David St Hubbins from Spinal Tap HAHAHA

  • HA! Trevor40, I always thought that "This is Spinal Tap" could have been written with the boy's in mind.

  • OMG! LOL. I've been a big Sweet fan for a long time but have never heard this song until recently on Youtube. Maybe it wasn't released state side?

  • my youth,the sweet

  • hahhhhha :D what a funny band :Dhmm some bands in 70's were really crazy :D funny style :) how they look :)

  • literalmente...suena como en español..."fuchi caca cocowoo" creo que alguno de ellos tenía niñera mexicana...les faltó el "guacala" .a.jajaj que BUEN grupo me encanta! con todo y el fuchi caca

  • R.I.P. Brian Connally (Vocals) and Mick Tucker (Drums/vocals) you both are sorely missed. Peace, Boys

  • im a sweet fan,nice words

  • Am I the blind one or Steve really looks like he's suffering hard...:D :D:D:D

  • Brian is so lovely. And Steve looks like my aunt xD

  • very good/funny song!!!!!

  • "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" pushed them off of number one?! What a bit of trivia.

  • Brian is so Sweet in this video!

  • Brians voice is like T Rex a bit, beautiful as he and Trex

  • God was that really 1971! The 70s rocked.

  • Hammergeil !!!

    2009 endlich LIVE erleben

  • Wie geil :D

Kannte vorher nur die Coverversion von Wolle Petry xD

  • They all look like they had a "low pressure" shower. Their hair kinda looks flat.

They are still awesome!! Steve ALWAYS looks sexy - doesn't matter what!!!!!
