This isn't one of my favourite Engel songs, but I do love your version, you make it your own, a pity it isn't, because you sing it so well. I saw Engel perform this live at the London Palladium at the time of its UK release. It was a TV broadcast. We (the audience) had to stay in the theatre after the show had ended. Engel had forgotten some of the words on the first run, so had to record it again! I have to say the same thing happened at the same venue with Release Me in '67! Poor Gerry!

We saw Englebert in March, in Melborne Florida, and his voice doesn't sound as powerful as yours. I guess I'll get it from the women, for that remark, but his seems to be fading with age, but yours is still strong.

There's no one better at covering Engelbert songs than you, and this true classic saw you delivering a great performance. You added your own touch to it, especially how you sang the word "love" at 2:54 - completely different to any version of the song I have heard, and that includes seeing the man himself 5 times in concert!

Superb. Thank you, Mark! What a voice! Who would've ever believed that you and I would have had the chance to bring real music back one day? 80's was tough. 90's scared me. Lol!
