The "oneness" of this choir is remarkable. Exquisite performance of this beautiful piece. Light and lovely with impeccable intonation and heart-wrenching dynamics. Bravo!
as an ensemble, they are so on. i love it! i just feel like their vowels could be so much deeper and add a greater color to this piece. some of their vowels are wayyy to bright for me. i still think they sound great though! just a though. :)
I have been dreaming of meeting Dr. Allred in person. I love the all his choirs. I admire every inch of your effort. What a great conductor indeed. Robert Caluya
Very beautiful sound. I like that every singer is involved. It makes a great performance. I feel at home when I hear this. If you don't mind, I have a bit of constructive criticism. The pausing after every punctuation is a bit choppy. It makes the song less mellow and more broken. I think that the pauses are good, but the space between should be shortened significantly. Also, I think the tempo may be a little quick. I understand your doing so, but it makes it even more beautiful at a slow tempo.
I agree...Whitworth College of Spokane, WA did this piece and released it on a CD called My Spirit Sang All Day ( you have to get it from the college itself)...the tempo was slower and and not so much pausing except at the end of verses....
Such beautiful blend and balance. Also, everyone seems to be so comfortable and "at home" on the stage. Both of which says tons about the mind-set of the ensemble and the direction and leadership of Dr. Allred.
This Choir is going to kill me...I keep holding my breath.

Why the heck is it so fast? He runs through the first lines of the verses so fast you can barely enjoy them. They sound great though.

The phrasing is exquisite. They make it sound easy, like they don't even need to breathe.

Anything less than 5 stars is ridiculous! By far no one performs this better on this site.
