I'd say the best space game ever. The graphics are nice ( they are nicer now than they were in this old video), can land on planets (which are pretty realistic), going in or out of planets is seamless. They think that aliens are cliché and have been overdone in games, so no aliens. but you might find traces of ancient civilizations... Really, if you want to know more go to their website:

this game is epic but much people can´t play it because the have video cards from ATI. The Game isn´t working with them and that is very very pity.

@orkJamork Ive tried the prototype, and in that respect you are right. (only certain ATI cards, not all). But does that mean that the game is not programmed to work with ATI cards at all? This was just the combat prototype...

A lot of the quotes in your vid don't make any sense. "A small step for man; a downfall for mankind" man and mankind here have the same concept so it's like saying a samll step for mankind, and a downfall for mankind. Also "A war for conflicted ideals" sounds like the war is being fought so that whoever is the winner can enjoy conflicted ideals. Really confusing

@lucas1121111 Actually if you check their website. They have a tech video that was uploaded just 4 days ago.

It has a ship in game fly to a Earth/Saturn hybrid planet from a space station far away. Eventually through the rings lined with rocky debris to going to the planet's surface to reveal deserts, mountains, oceans and snow. Plus other nice features.

Not canceled, but don't expect to play this game any time soon. Development of the game is very slow.

I'd think so. The prototype should be listed on their site to download. Even if none of the servers are still up, you can always solo play it offline or host your own server with it.

I actually think that song works for Infinity. It may be overused, but when the video is done to match the song it works.

Well, one of the ideas behind this video was to show the devs of Infinity which music direction they should take.

The first song in the video is a track taken from the combat prototype itself. The second is how the actual game should shot towards in music. Vocal and violins seem to have space all over it. Decent: Freespace is an example of that, which had some epic music tracks that had vocals in it.

Still have high hopes for the game even though production on it is slow. :)

Also, rather unfortunantly, combat prototype doesnt appear to work on my comp, is it a vista problem, since this was (as i understand it) pre vista? I have attempted to run in compatibility mode.

1. You can also use YouTube little mailbox thing if you want to send messages/ask questions to others on the site.

2. You have to open up a server first, run the client and connect to yourself using your computer's own IP. The server is located in the same folder as the client.

3. I run Windows XP SP2. I would have no clue on the specs required nor do I have any advice as I never used that operating system. Best to ask on the infinity forums about that issue.

Unfortunantly, Not so much, when I attempt to get in it gives me an error message that says that either the connection failed, or it opens and crashes, before fully loading (I get a white screen, then an error message)

Yeah, I agree with you.

Though the final product came a long way and the first part was bleh. But most likely because the music kicks ass in the second part. Not that the first part music was all that bad, but it has nothing on 'Requiem for a Dream.'

My videos are only as good as the music I can work with.

Kind of a hint what direction of music Infinity should dip into. ;)
