  • the said thing was Robert Mason spinet his life looking for the truth and was not able in this life to take port but thanks to the gospel of Christ he will in the next life.

  • awsome!

  • Yes this is a favorite of mine and shows the loving care of a loving father in heaven who has given us hope thru Jesus Christ by living and vicarious ordinances that can be received and performed on earth or in other words in the flesh or of the spirit we all have hope how great to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ in these last days. These pioneering men have blazed the way, how can anyone not feel the spirit of truth as in Christ who is truth.

  • this was a pretty interesting story. but i am a person of reason and there is no solid evidence that the events from the book of mormon are true. ill admit that i got the "spirit tingles" quoting the person below me but i still stand as an agnostic.

  • I am a Mormon, but I can understand Agnostics pretty well. My opinion is that you need a certain degree of doubt to keep searching for the truth. Those who completely eliminate this doubt are usually so convinced that they have all they need that they stop half-way and make no more progress. And I believe that's the reason why God does not simply show himself to all of us. Faith is always based on personal experience and NOT on scientific evidence.

  • @Troul478 Very interesting, and a very good point.

  • @SmexyPenguin92

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1 of the New Testament

  • Yeah I feel the spirit tingles !!!!!!

  • An entire video for the forth pres. hmm, cool.

  • Joseph smith is a true prophet of the Lord Jesus Christ and his translation of the plates and record of a remnant of the house of israel dating back 1000BC is ANOTHER testament of JESUS CHRIST.

    Ezekiel 37:15-19

1 Corinthians 14:3 But he (joseph smith) that prophesieth speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and exhortation, and comfort.

  • @TrueChurchLDS

It seems like you took 1 Corinthians 14:3 completely out of context.

The chapter was continuing the theme of spiritual gifts. As stated in Chapter 12, every member of the Church has a unique gift.

Simply read 14:1 "Pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy "

This was a message to the Church of Corinth, not to Joseph Smith.

I have nothing against Mormonism, I just don't enjoy fictitious exegesis

    God Bless

  • The message Paul sent Corinth, tells them that men that fill that roll would include Joseph Smith seeing how did have those same properties as did O.T. prophets did.

    You too God Bless

  • @LDSapologist71

Actually no Brother that is Rhetoric, not history or context

Read the chapters and even the first verse of the Chapter.

14:1 "Pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy "

That "you" in that verse is the Church of Corinth who he was writing to

Chapter 11 that talks about how men and women PROPHESY.

Applying this to J.S. is simply an abuse of context.

I don't believe Rhetoric wins anyone credibility.

    May God Bless you Brother

  • @SuperJoseph1987 No reply.

  • continue reading 1 Cor 12 :

27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

  • I liked how Wilford searched diligently for the truth and eventually found the church that followed the teachings described in the Bible. I wish all people today would spent this much time on introspection and aligning their lives with the gospel. The world would be a much better place.

  • I think this is one of my faqvorites! Great job!

  • Great videos

  • This is my FAVOURITE video!!! Thanks for posting it.

  • Wilford Woodruff, my favorite church president. AWESOME video.
