Northwestern played a great game. However, Ed Murakowski clearly lost the ball about two yards before he had crossed the end zone. The film of course won't show it, but the photos clearly do. Decades before instant reply allow NU to get away with a terrible call. Certainly not the fault of the Wildcats themselves...just the official who made the call. That of course was fellow 'Chicago' guy, Jay Berwanger.
