  • everybody dies? not good end :(i wanted to see sephiroth reviving his mother and cloud kikcking their asses :/

  • OHHH, I SAW WHAT YOU DID CLOUD.

They made cloud throw sephiroth into the reactor inside the Jenova chamberroom instead of the pipeway area.

  • so many people here who only played crisis core and not FF7...play ff7, its so much better than crisis core.

  • Huh? Sephiroth never took Jenova's head. How else did Shinra have the whole specimen in the lab in FFVII?

  • @kyedhenfemale He did, the specimen at the ShinRa building had the head missing.

  • Forgive me for not being so verse in the FFVII wold, but what was that stuff that hojo said about cloud being reconstructed or something?

  • does anyone know the song played in the background?

  • lol. read the description

  • heres where i laugh.. who beat sephiroth? twice? lol he was surely not a failed experiment, he was classed as that yet when they encounted hojo in midgar end of disc 2 he asks for his number because he was surely impressed that he was better then sephiroth and since he basically made them he must be a solider

  • This is soo much coolwer if you have completed ff7 and you know the campain! play ff7!!!!!!!

  • Your Wronglol, it is Zack who is in fact the clone, otherwise cloud would have made it into soldier, this puts into perspective that when cloud was younger he was a great big wuss until the time he needed to go all psycho on sephiroth due to A) his best friend is nearly killed by sephiroth and B) the girl who he fancies aka the girl that he grew up with is also attacked leaving only cloud to deal with sephiroth, i rest my case...

  • Cloud WAS a clone, but he was a failure. You find this out in FF7. He was never up to the standard of Sephiroth, and that's why he never made it to First Class. And yes, Cloud only became serious when he had to save Zack, and then after Zack died, Cloud became the Cloud seen throughout FF7, AC and DoC.

  • listen here.. if u watch the begining of advent children rite soldier are actually manufactured with jenova cells inside them, they were first class soldiers soo techuquely cloud was soldier first class.. swish and flick ;)

  • True, but keep in mind that he was listed as a failed experiment. He was never up to the standard of Zack or Sephiroth, so he became a normal solider. ;)

  • are you serious? i didn't kno he was a clone

  • Cloud aint a clone man. He just lost his memories due to mako poisoning.

  • um you guys are all wrong... Cloud and Zack aren't clones. Cloud had a childhood and so did Zack. If you guys played the game you'd know that. Zack grew up in Gongaga village. Cloud grew up in Nibelheim. Cloud's messed up because he was injected with Jenova cells in the shinra mansion in a test tube. Zack was injected too, but cloud responded better to the Jenova cells than Zack. Eventually they both escaped, and the rest is history.

  • FINALLY somebody who actually knows about ff7

  • @pthaeloblue They`re called " Sephiroth Clones " in The Games ( APPARENTLY The Japanese have A MUCH LOOSER Criteria for " Clone " than us Westerners )! But yeah , Cloud and Zack were BORN Enhanced Humans and LATER kidnapped and injected against Their Will with Sephiroth`s Jenova Cell- Infested DNA by Hojo ! It would be MORE ACCURATE to call The Two Sephiroth`s " DNA Brethren " which makes The Remnants referring to Cloud as " Big Brother " appropriate !

  • @1993MovieMan They were NEVER born ENHANCED HUMANS... They had a NORMAL childhood with normal parents. They are human beings. Any ENHANCEMENTS they had came later during their willing participation in the SOLDIER program as well as during their unwanted stay at the SHINRA MANSION. It's all in the original FF7 game.

  • @pthaeloblue Genesis and Sephiroth ( BEFORE The Two went insane due to The Jenova Cells ) note Zack and Cloud are Enhanced Humans while Angeal , Genesis and Sephiroth are Monsters !

  • @1993MovieMan Honestly I don't give a shit about what Gackt- I mean Genesis says. If u wanna get technical both boys participated in the SOLDIER program, which does make them enhanced humans, so they are correct in that aspect. (everyone in the game kept mentioning how their eyes were green due to the side effect from being in the program) That doesn't detract from the fact that they are still ONLY humans who have been enhanced, and NOT clones. THE END.

  • Scenes like this make a strong case for a FFVII remake (though I'm still against it).

  • although this scene does look familer. when sephiroth comes down the stairs like that. IS THAT TIFA? Iam going to get to this part.

  • Dude if Cloud could always jump 20 feet in the air WITH a blade that weighs twice as much as he does..how the HELL does he NOT make it into SOLDIER?!

  • freed* a body part, sorry.

  • By the way, when I say, "thinks he's Zack," I don't mean literally. I mean, he thinks Zack's experiences are his own. Please don't bash if you know what I meant.

  • there is one thing that i don't understand

if cloud is that strong, how come he stays as a low-level soldier

  • This is my theory.

    A) Cloud is a Sephiroth Clone, so we assume he has "sleeping strength."

    B) Cloud has his memories transfused with Zack's. So, after he thinks he's Zack, it probably wakes up his strength, since he's emulating Zack's memories and skill. He's not paying attention to his weakness, because he doesn't really remember it in a sense.

  • lets list out cloud's weaknesses:

    1.girls

    2.Girls

    3.and more girls

  • Well, that was only a burst of strength so I take it that was an adrenaline rush more than anything.

  • Ditto..

Cloud was nothing more of an human being b4 that he was soaked with mako and jenova cells..

Jenova's alien cell gives the carrier increased in strength but the side effects are shown after zack saved him.. i wont spoil the game for everyone who hasnt finish it yet =P

  • Oh, by the way, for those who actually played FFVII past the age of 14 and unlocked the extra scenes, and researched the game, does anyone remember when Shinra is found with the masamune sticking out of him in the beginning?

Sephiroth clearly abandoned his sword. I wonder how he reclaimed it? They should have given a hint as to Sephiroth's terror tactics in Crisis Core, to explain that happening in FFVII =[

  • The Sephiroth that killed Shinra was jenova taking the form of him, the real sephiroth was in the northern creater.. he had been infected with so much mako energy after cloud suposidly kills him he was able to control all the other clones

  • That's blasphemy, guy. The game clearly indicates Cloud was the only successful clone. All other clones you see in the game are weak and hunched-over defects. None would be physically capable of killing off all that security.

If you're getting your info from a prequel or sequel, just disregard what you learn from them...they aren't the true integrity of the game.

  • Oh, Jenova taking the form of him? Sorry, I misread the question. That's also blasphemous...Jenova was still scattered in pieces across the world. If Shinra could contain Jenova, who was apparently still capable of fighting, I think we are to assume the Jenova fights are somehow enhanced by something Sephiroth does. While yes, Jenova does take Sephiroth's form on the ship in FFVII, that was AFTER Sephiroth feed a body part...so it doesn't really fit.

  • Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Hojo and Lucrecia are Sephiroth's real parents, are they not? I'm fairly sure it was Hojo in the unlockable Flashback who was with Lucrecia, and confirmed by the fact Sephiroth tells Cloud materia isn't magical and that his "father would scold him for saying that."

  • true but jenova is sorta his mum as well, cos when sephiroth is a embryo(developing into a baby)hojo decided to use his unborn son as the scapegoat and infused jenova's cell into the then unborned sephiroth.

reason for using sephiroth:cos all his other test subjects failed

  • I like more the Last Order version , becouse Cloud isnt challange to Sephiroth , he would cut Cloud in half when he just want. Here Cloud throw him (you belive that he would be able to do it or even simple throw would kill Sephiroth??) , if i need to belive to something then i chose the Last Order scene , where Septhiroth jump himself ( that was his plan from the start , dunno what he wanted to gain from this but he went psycho in the movie so he shouldnt think like normal person)

  • Well to be fair, in the original scene in FFVII, Cloud throws him there too. They went back to that idea after quite a bit of bickering though. However, I will complain that this scene has been different in one or two aspects every time it's been portrayed. =_____=# Personally I've always liked Cloud tossing him better.

  • How many times are they going to retcon this scene?

They need to go ahead and remake FFVII and be done with this crap already.

  • They really do need to remake FFVII. I hate all the things they're leaving out in the prequel and the sequel...was just plain uncalled for. They really dumbed everything down.

  • They need to leave FFVII alone. if they did remake, it definitely WOULD be dumbed down.

  • If they remade it without adding or removing anything, not possible. Pray. lol

  • Cloud doesn't look 16. Poor Tifa, they made her dress like a stripper in this game. :(

  • That's how she was dressed in the flashback scenes in FFVII. You rather them change that as well?

  • Really? I thought it was more like the attire in Last Order.

And I mean... she's only supposed to be 15...

  • Cloud stroking Tifa's face was so incredibly sweet. Seriously.

  • I know! *heart melts*

  • hehe, yes. Very sweet ^^

  • well ya they screwed up but im still buying this game no matter what people say

  • there's no blood!

  • one question.where is the part when sephiroth, zack and tifa doing photo...becouse i was soo the pic(photo)and it must to have a part...but where is she?cloud somebody to tall me?pls...

  • i agree with WarriorInDebt they kinda messed it up...

  • No, Last Order was messed up, if you go by the original scene in the game.

Tifa wasn't meant to see that it was Cloud at the reactor (she didn't learn this until she and Cloud were in the Lifestream), and Sephiroth did NOT jump into the reactor - Cloud used the last of his strength to throw him in, as he did in this video.

  • Yes, V1L3. Also, Zack never had a last word with Cloud. He was gunned down by a small handful of soldiers, not a massive army of them. He never hid Cloud in the original, either. He had Cloud in plain view, and the soldiers didn't kill him anyway because he looked sick enough to die on his own.

  • Wow, I just noticed! From 2:57-3:00 there is a funny face in the upper right corner ^-^

  • Creepy.

  • Best. Version. Of scene. Ever.

  • Wait A minute, They F'd it up, bigtime!

In last order, Cloud said some stuff when he stabbed seph, Zack was thrown against A cooler, and cloud ran up the stairs, instead of doing A "DBZ" jump, and also: He got stabbed twice, when running, and on top.

    Damnit!

  • If you compare the events of last order to the original FFVII, then Last Order is not canon. Last order wasn't directly made by Square Enix. Crisis Core is considered canon.

  • How can you stab someone with that thing and NOT cut them in two??

  • i was thining the exact same thing like that sword is huge how was he not cut in two????

  • in the cartoon movie cloud spoke when he killed sphiroth. he said, "tifa, my home, my mother, give it all back!"

  • whatthe... Cloud didn't say anything when he stabbed Sephy???

  • Yeah, that sucked! In Final Fantasy 7, he said Mom, Tifa! My hometown give it back!!! It does suck when important quotes from the original source get removed, due to the story being updated.

  • I think its because they've shown this scene to us in about 200 different ways that they didn't feel the need to input that....again.

  • Oh forgot, this is Zack's POV....

  • please last order had so many inconsistences it made my head spun, why th heck would tifa speak to cloud in LO and not remember it in FF7?

Why does show Cloud throwing him off in ff7 but him jumping off in LO, it made cloud look inferior, when it was meant to show his hatred for sephiroth the fact he beat him.

  • So far, I like the version I saw in Last Order where Sephiroth jumped and such. But this way is cool too. :D

  • I like it better where Sephiroth jumped. T.T

  • I wish you could send me this clip. *__*

  • AHHH!! Hojo you basterd!!!

  • HOW MANY TIMES MUST CLOUD KILL THAT BITCH! ahahaha. its going on 3 now.

  • make it 5 times. FF7, FF7 AC, FF7 CC, KH1, KH2

  • Man!!!! Sephiroth JUST WON'T DIE!!! Damn it!!!

  • they just changed where sephiroth was thrown from

  • OMG! Cloud!

But he do not die =D

    I remember this game well..

  • Hmmm... The reactors also changed.... Inside of it... And Sephiroth was tossed into the Lifestream. He didn't jump in of his own will. Hmm....

  • the stupid anime thing showed sephiroth jumping on his own will. in the game he was thrown by cloud killing him

  • This is all very confusing...I wish they would make up their minds!!!

  • Tell me about it...they changed it back to that from how it was in Last Order. T.T Which way is it?!

  • Really should have made it an FMV, I think....

  • i agree, its probably the most important part of the entire story

  • I agree completely

  • I love HOJO, such an awesome insane scientist. Love the way cloud comes onto the screen when hes falling down the stairs, hilarious.

  • You're sadistic. o_0

    xD

  • Are you crazy!!! hojo can go to hell!!!

  • hojo rules, he's the man, doesn't take any shit from no-one, then injects himself with jenova cells, he so CRAZY

  • Antama Ocashii!!!! your crazy

  • Aww man! I wanted cloud to get impaled when he ran up those steps! Heh, but still, a great video!

  • yes like in Last Order... there are different versions lol!

  • this is good. everything (well, allmost) happened in final fantasy VII.

  • They make up for that in the ending, though. Come to think of it, the ending makes up for all the bloodless battles in previous Final Fantasy titles.

Still, that's kind of pathetic to me. You get wonderful animations of characters, scenery, even the rain looks damn real - and with all that, they fail to animate Sephiroth's coat being ripped by a sword thrust.

Oh yeah, before it slips my mind... Masamune has really grown in those five years after the Nibelheim incident, hasn't it? ^^

  • HE HE tyou're right... jeeze i wish i had a psp so i could play this game... even if i only know 1 or 2 sentances of japanese and i get the japanese edition...

  • Sephiroth's coat rocks. No tear in it even when you stab it with a sword that can slice buildings in two.

  • I'm more impressed with the fact that no one bled. :P

  • It's also fire-proof. Definitely the greatest coat ever.

  • Cloud throwing Sephiroth is too unrealistic? And the surviving of the impalement is normal? Being able to fly through the sky to attack him in the first place is realistic? All four of them surviving is realistic? It's a game, it's not meant to be realistic. Yes, it's an adrenaline rush, because his mother was just murdered, his best friend is dying and the love of his life is dying - again, so he goes semi-insane. Hasn't anyone ever seen Cloud before? Why does this surprise people? >.>;

  • Sorry, lol, you have a point.

  • ...<3

Nice. Cloud passed out down the staris xD *faves and 5s*

  • Ohh, it's so wonderful that they actually did things RIGHT here and had Cloud throw Sephiroth into the reactor the way he did in FFVII. (Still don't know how he did it, but I guess adrenaline and sheer desperation can make people stronger than they thought possible.)

Thank you for uploading this -- I've wanted to rewatch this cutscene, but the prospect of having to go through the Seph fights and everything else again was offputting.

  • but cloud throwing Sephiroth side was part of the orginal story of final fantasy vii

  • ouch ripping the masamune out of chest like that has got to hurt

  • I wish more of Cloud's dialogue from "Last Order" had been left in.

Thank you for putting this up.

  • I liked the redone Last Order version of Sephiroth's death here better. Cloud throwing him like that is just too unrealistic. The rest was great, though. Sephiroth looks so cute with that innocent look in the beginning. Thanks for the post!!

  • I agree with you. In many cases, almost everything shown in Last Order was closer to FFVII than Crisis Core. But hey, adrenaline rush can do wonders for people.

  • yeh i have to agree i prefer it better wen cloud pulls himself onto the masumane, maybe its just the fact that i looove the scream his voice actor does ;) heh heh, but yeh i wanted more talking and dramaticness, if they have blood at the end of the game then why not now??

  • That's what I want to know to myself. But perhaps they just didn't want to show it.

  • How wonderful to hear the Theme of Shinra again...*purr*

  • Awh, look at them. *___* (Cloud & Tifa)

  • How the hell does a First Class Soldier and General get beat by a grunt?! Out of the three, I have to agree with the majority that Cloud is the strongest.

  • hojo probably doesn't even care that sephiroth died. the only thing that would matter to him would be losing a specimen

  • he lost 2 but recovered one for experimentation.

    (Sephiroth and Jenova)

  • Hojo is Sephiroth's father, isn't he? Out of everyone in FFVII, I think I like Hojo the LEAST! The one guy I really don't sympathize with.
