Panicatdf, no mobile phones DO NOT send out a signal strong enough to pop popcorn, even the very IDEA of it is stupid.

The kernel of a popcorn contains a certain amount of oil and moisture (like water) both the moisture and the oil has to get to the boiling point before the kernel pops, no phone can make that kind of heat, else you will be able to get burns from using your phone, which i doubt they werent designed to do...
