I had 5 shots of absinthe straight and unprepared. unsweetened and unmixed it's taste is no factor when it comes to quick kick in and strong and powerful intoxication within munutes which is a dangerous factor when it comes to whether you wanna get drunk or whether you just wanna chill. drink a straight unprepared and unsweetened shot to chill drink 5 shots to black out in 10 minutes.

Wasn't proper Absinthe either. Absinthe should be green due to thujone and wormwood, not blue like that crap was.

Most absinthe is only 69% alcohol, not 85%. It's also generally quite drinkable, I only weigh roughly 130 pounds yet drink 2 bottles at a time quite frequently (bottles are only 100 ml each) and feel just fine afterwards.

I mean we both blacked out but still.... fine..

@Fizban1216 69% O_o, 75% they are. And they re sold in bottles of 1 liter mostly. And like you say, color is also different. And what many dont know, is that real absinth, you can only find if you know where to go. 99.99% of whats sold, isnt absinth at all. Its only alcohol flavoured as absinth. you should know that 100ml of real absith, would get you down.

Nah, sugar is definitely necessary.

I mean i normally only use about half a sugar cube, and thats enough for me...

That looked like Hills absinthe (due to the blue hue), it uses petite wormwood - pathetic stuff, and a horrible taste. next time try REAL absinthe such as La Fee or Lucid.
