l love my pre, pre plus to be exact, but for anyone that is wondering, yes preware does work on the pre plus, and no, no viruses, everything works just fine with any easy install.

Nope. It works fine, and no viruses.
Make sure you use Firefox to download it, and have an updated java.

I put Preware on my Pre as well, along with a lot of the tweaks (including the battery percentage one you use).
It really does boost the Pre in every way, especially with the sweet themes.
