I looked like a restaurant in my city. I was new to the BIG CITY in '84 & this was the very 1st movie I have ever seen in a theater. It really freaked me out. The part where they're walking down the stairwell in the library basement look a lot like my basement & I was afraid to go down there.LMFAO

@xIegionx I remember all those spooks. Everyone of course knows Slimer! Chinatown spook and Dance club poltergeist are only mentioned, Subway ghost and Zombie Taxi Driver appear when Walter Peck shuts off the containment unit, and harrasser ghost only appears in deleted storyboard scene, plus it seems obvious there were many other ghosts the Ghostbusters captured offscreen. Damn cheap shots of Ray just holding a smoking trap!

@Toiletcoffee that's how the logo looks on the RIGHT side of the door. The LEFT has the reverse

@Toiletcoffee your right, they reversed many of the shots, so the logo is reverse which for a while was mistaken to be the correct way. Other ways you see it's 'flipped' is the head lights. : )

they were a fiberglass shell with aluminum parts and an all-aluminum thrower.

my pack weighs 29 lbs. and i can hold it like that no problem.

@kind2311 They actually used two different kinds of packs. Stunt packs (which they wore most of the time) And the real deal light up regular packs. The regular packs weighed (if I can remember from the DVD Commentary from Ramis 50 lbs)

@vibyjocke the real error is the flipped scene where the ecto is driving. The logo on the car is flipped. done in post production.

@andrumurray this is not an error the passenger side door logo WAS flipped. The logo patch on their uniform is also flipped on their right arms. this is the same as the military flipped the U.S. flag on the right arm of uniforms.

@headmouse Sorry man, but you're still wrong. Look at where the red siren light is placed on the car. In the first scene with the ecto1 in the fire house about to stroll out, its on the right side of the car. This is a flipped scene done in editing.

@headmouse And the reason that the U.S. Army has a reversed flag on the right sleeve of the uniform is because that's how a real flag would look from that side when going forward. It's supposed to be a sign of how the Army is always moving forward.
