Truly a great band and a great song. I don´t believe in any religion, though i believe there must be something more deep and profound than us humans, Too many people use religion for their own good, like justifying wars and evil deeds bbeacuse god "wants them to do so"". If god exists i´m sure he wouldn´t want greedy politicians using his name for their own wicked deeds and lust for power.

Sure, beileve in god, be it christian or something else. But most important, believe in yourself. Doom on!

wow this song is so true for me. the part about the urge to kill and not wanting to be locked up again. just seems like its a losing battle. i was born with my darkness and i'll die with it. just remember darkness is forever and it takes energy to cause light.

I'm an agnostic. This the song doesn't bother me in the least. I agree with the feeling, the sentiment of the song, not the specific message. You can tell Victor Griffin has seen some shit, has experienced the joys and miseries of the human condition. We're all brothers in one way or another. I feel for him, even if his life has led him, perhaps misguided him, down another path. I can't help but do so. I've walked that walk, and I've come back from it beaten and bruised, but whole-er for it.
