I'm currently playing this song too, but i play it at a slower pace and also a different key. I'm trying to find videos on youtube to know if there's a correct speed or not, because i see videos playing this fast, and others at a pace that i'm playing. I did this for a Kiwaniss Festival and i was playing quite slow but they wanted it slower, so i got really confused after watching these videos. AHAHA.
@LSYC98 I agree that the roll is fast. If I play it at the speed suggested on the roll, it's even faster! The LeBeque sisters play it at a similar speed on their "Gladrags" album, although with expression that my player piano is incapable of. That helps a lot.
As you can see on the leader, the recommended speed is 100 for this roll, and that's full speed on my piano! In truth I'm playing this one a bit slower than that here.
This was arranged and cut by L. Douglas Henderson. It has a copyright date of 1987. Henderson has his own piano roll company, "Artcraft", and I bought this roll directly from him. Cheers!

It sounds fast. Is it playing at the right speed?

Was this cut by Gershwin or another player? I hope maybe you might know.

Sounds great! Now, can you foot-pump it and add some dynamics, please?
