Can't someone build something THEY like and drive it without a bunch of people with no mechanical ability slamming them? Or Grand National Roadster Show? Those shows are the ones that matter and you do not see fag pink and blue flame paint jobs all over the place! Go get your Rebel Rodz mag and read the "tech articles" on how to create rust and beat the car with chains and use road signs for patch panels and bomber seats like the rest

Only thing you'd ever paint on a rat rod is something particularly soecial, Like Rpeek did when he found the fire engine lettering underneath the old paint and rust when he stripped her, so he had a buddy recreater the way the lettering was origionally on the unpainted body

Yep,the era of the gasoline powered automobile is going to fade fast. I recently viewed a proto type car (could mfg now) that ran electric produed by hydrogen used in the on board fuel cell. The big deal was the car produced hydrogen on demand on board ,the car used a onboard battery set that was charged by solsr cells built into the poly carbonate car body,water was the source of the hydrogen , the exhaust water was pumped back to the water supply to use again 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds
