If you want the most intimate look into Randy's and Rudy's experiences touring with Ozzy, and memories of his friend, I HIGHLY suggest you read Rudy's book; "Off the Rails".

Anyways, I think that Rudy's book would be more of a closer (and more accurate) recount of Randy during the tour. I love Ozzy, but Randy and Rudy were very close, and they practically stuck side by side the entire tour.

Rudy back with Quiet Riot played,endorsed and designed his rising sun bass with Washburn. When he was with Whitesnake he did the same thing with Peavey. I am a bass player greatly influenced by him and do currently own both basses designed by him. I actually pre-ordered the Peavey model without even playing it six months prior the release of it. I believe I got the first one to hit the stores in central Mass. I played my Peavey Sarzo model all the time and still do today.
Loving his book. I'm reading it now. Almost done. Kind of funny he's giving his opinion on Britney.He should be talking things QR. Who cares about her?
Rudy is probably my favorite bassist of all time. I think his best work is with whitesnake, what do you guys think?
