An "integrated engineering curriculum" is one that seeks to integrate topics from mathematics, science and engineering courses. The teachers in these courses talk to one another and try to do things in class that show the connections between mathematics, science and engineering.
We don't really think of "integrated engineering" as an engineering discipline. At Louisiana Tech, we have biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, mechanical and nanosystems engineering programs.
hmm, ic. Well I am going to UBC (university of british columbia, in vancouver, canada) And it is actually a discipline here, with seperate instructors and everything. So ya, its basically a broad education on all the formal disclines if engineering. I guess its not a standardized thing though..
Awesome vid. Hey what is integrated engineering about... in a nutshell?? I am considering goining into that specialty next year..
