  • Good job there, you saved the snake and got the bike path secured :) If only there were more people like you. Majority doesn't give a shit about anything but themselves. It's a sad world : (

  • @BAK87

Thank you. Unfortunately I'm in agreement with you as I've seen people intentionally kill rattlesnakes and other wildlife when these poor creatures weren't threatening anyone. We need to keep doing the right thing - thanks for your support!

  • Good job for not poking a stick at it,scribbles the juggalo

  • @Magnet0730

Thanks! I try to avoid hurting wildlife, or anything else, whenever possible.

  • Your a good person for actually caring about the snake. There needs to be more people like you around where I live. Everybody here except for myself, trys to kill them. Good vid.

  • @TheSnakeLibrary

Thank you for your kind comments. And, I appreciate the education you're providing about reptiles on

your own channel as well - thanks!

  • @zeekzilch Your very welcome, I've got an infant cottonmouth right now and Im waiting for my girlfriend to get here to help film. The young ones look really cool with little neon greenish tails. It'll be released back to the same habitat I found it at once we're done filming. Thanks for the comment as well, my goal is to give people a good look at whats out there. To show how beautiful these animals are.

  • When it coils up that means get the hell away!

  • @noxnflame

    I think you're right!

  • I was on the Centenial Cone trail and came across one -- first time in a while -- and he almost bit me. I stepped within a foot from it (accidently) and it's amazing he didn't strike. He sure was hissing --- they are very hard to see in the rocks and the sound sometimes makes them seem further away than they are!! Cool video, too bad you didn't get the strike attempt, that would get 1 million hits!!

  • @smcobb99

Thanks for your interesting note about your Centennial Cone encounter! I think rattle snakes want us big creatures to keep from crushing them so that's why they rattle so much. Just my guess though!

  • Cool vid Roger! Be careful!

  • Prior to this video it struck at me and I jumped back about 5 feet!

  • That's Cool, Rattlesnake encounters are always fun.
