heh, I had a maxtor do this in my computer without me doing anything. Fucking thing had 60GB of images on it too... I can show images if you need proof. The motor control IC let out the smoke.

3 days a go I was using a quanitum fireball

And I was using xp the hdd crashed then started to boot then it was a smoke/fire ball

(chip fried) (relly started on fire but I had the hdd in arms reach because I was working on a open pc)
