the funny thing is whip was probably 1.8m ahrims top and bottom maybe 900k or 1m he lost probably 3m tops but back then money was hard to make rich people were rare. this is how it was for me atleast. runescape use to be way harder. they made it easy with godwars and all of the new ways for money..

@deathfighter55 uhh its exactly the opposite... it way harder to make money now cuz everything is way to expensive. back then everything was alot cheaper and merchanting existed. so essentially, u could b rich with very little money cuz everything was cheap and easy 2 get. but now u try and a buy a set up that back then would cost u no more then 10m now costs atleast 50 or more

@knoxy456 yeah essentially ur right. its easier to GET "money" (as in gold coins) buts its harder to MAKE money because of the coins being so readily available. the problem is the value of the coins goes down because of it. witch means the more money there is to get. the less its worth in the market. So in retrospect, the poorer u become with the same amount of cash. It's simple logic, ABUNDANCE of items (DIDN'T VANISH ON DEATH) + a low coin count in circulation = low prices & high money value.

@kingz8ter I don't believe you played before 2009. Back then, it took virtually forever to make even 1-2M. The only people who had more than 10-20M were those who were there for holiday drops, those that got lucky at drop parties, and those who were awesome at merchanting.

Getting a whip then took about a week or two for 90% of the players.. Getting it now takes 2 days AT MOST.

Merchaning was sooo easy i would make 3m average flipping infinity sets alone in less than 30 minutes. Bought for 11m and sold for 14m easy. Thats just one example... all you have 2 do is know what you were doing. Also you do realize that 1-2m was worth way more then, then now because items were set at a lower priceEx: 15m fury, back then was only 2m.or today's 4m+ ahrimtop then 1m
