In fact it's very spirit IS metal... the styling may not seem so to people who are more "preening" or elitist --- but I have yet to run into any metal that gives me the same sense of theatrical coldness and horror that this album did... @ASTAROTH13666 - I think antichristsuperstar was his' most metal album... In fact it's very spirit IS metal... the styling may not seem so to people who are more "preening" or elitist --- but I have yet to run into any metal that gives me the same sense of theatrical coldness and horror that this album did... It helps that I can discern what he's saying and that it's not so complicated that it obscures the message.

I DONT GIVE A FUCK WHAT ANY OF YOU SAY ON HERE!!! its true. if you listen to "wrapped in plastic" vs "mechanical animals" you will see the difference. i remember i used to listen to marilyn alllll the time back in 7th grade
then by the end of 7th grade when his new album came out i was so mad that his new album sucked and couldn't even bare to listen to any of his stuff again -_-(moved on to NIN :b for a year)
first time i heard this song in three years andi miss it so ~_~ if i never ended up listening to marilyn manson, i'd probably be listening and worshipping current radio music (which, in my opinion, is horrible ;b) i hate my generation :b
