  • ur back looks like a vagina. Its a compliment

  • I have a winged scapula on both of mine i just wanted to know if i work out can i still get abs even tho i have winged scapula?

  • @StephenRubinosky winged scapulas will only affect the way your back look, and chest depending on how bad it is.

  • @crazyhiho yea it made my chest sink in

  • @StephenRubinosky dont worry about it man, I just strengthened by chest and back, and the rest comes down to you and your posture, i found that helped my winged scapulars alot.

  • found out today i have it and i done it 2 years ago, let me tell you just keep exercising i did and all the muscles around the damaged nerve has strenghtend and i can use it ALMOST as good as my left. still annoying and hurts but hey it gets better with motivation

  • this blows me away! i have fsh muscular dystrophy and had scapula-thoracic fusion on my right shoulder (very traumatic), got pneumonia and collapsed lung. i didn't know that anyone else had winging of the scapula other than someone with fsh muscular dystrophy. what causes this in other people?

  • @cutiepatooteeinsc I have a winging scapula.I hade a tendon transfer surgery and it didn't work.Know I'm needing a scapula fusion. What were the results from yours.I'm hoping good.Because I'm been wating to have the surgerry done for years and have not had health insurance. This has messed up my whole life, and my upper back.

  • @tommyb240 , please don't feel that it has messed up your whole life. i promise you, it can be so much worse. i'm in a wheelchair, but it's not that bad. i had the surgery done on one of my shoulders and it worked really well! i wasn't able to raise my arms above shoulder height and now i can with the surgery. i wish you the best and i hope you can get your surgery soon. hugsssss

  • @cutiepatooteeinsc alot of different things..... im 14 and i've had it my entire life... ive been told its just from my poor posture. but mine sticks out 3 inches when i push on a wall =(

  • @ItouchReview2g mine was caused from having a type of muscular dystrophy. the trapezius muscle did not develop so it caused the scapula to wing and it felt as though it was trying to come out of the top of my shoulder. the surgeon attached the scapula to the breast bone and is now held down by a metal bar and pins. i can now raise my arm above my head. you should find out why yours is that way because you are still young and your body should heal well after surgery. good luck!

  • i have a winged scapula on only one scapula. he has an extreme case

  • that looks like a really bad case! I have winging on one side of my body. been trying to get it sorted for a while now, just simple exercises are what my physio has recommended so far...

  • doesn't look like surgery did anythin for u lol

  • What kind of trauma caused the damage to your plexus brachialis?

  • does he have FSH md or nerve damage?

  • looks like a butt cleft

  • for instant relief try dry cupping, for those of you that dont know its an ancient healing method, you obviously need to continue with excercise, i think swimming helps thats what im gonna add to my list. i do cupping currently and it seems to work. Also dont wait time at chiropractor but please take the physio's advise on the excercise regime

  • the video is an extream case, it will normally be on one shoulder, i have had it for 4 years, you need to excercise diligently to solve the problem, i wish i had the solution.

when excersing try and keep your shoulders in position by using a wall behind u. I think the excercise will be more benificial

  • it looks like a humongous vagina

  • I've had a winged scapular for almost five years now, what was the surgery? I've kind of just learnt to deal with it. Obviously get pain now and again, but the neurosurgeons said there was little that could be done, a part from putting a nail in my scapular, but that wouldn't necessary fix the problem!

  • what was the nature of the surgery? What was the cause of the winging in the first place?

  • The cause of the winging is the damage of the long thoracic nerve, wich innervates the serratus anterior muscle (wich keeps the scapula attached to the back)

  • I understand that there was some insult to the long thoracic nerve(s) but it appears to be bilateral. What I was wanting to know is the etiology of the damage and how the nerve was repaired.

  • wow!! im guessing that the problem i have isnt winging scapula

  • yea me too!! my scapula is sticking out a bit, but not half as bad as this.. oww looks sore :(

  • I think this is a pretty extreme example
