In Loving Memory Poem For Grandma - Missing Grandma

Hi

I lost both my Grans within a very short time, my moms mom would let me get away with anything, I spent a lot of time with her, whilst mom worked. There's a bond there that can never be broken even in death, the great memories shall always remain.

I look back now and smile to myself, those years were so good to me. My nan was my grandmother, my mother and my friend rolled up in one, she ltaught me so much, I'm the man I am because of her.

I lost my Grandma last year and i still miss her soo much. I know she in a good place now but i just wish i had one more day with her.

Nothing has happend to my gma yet. Thank god, but it scares me because i've lived with my gma since i was born. She took me home from the hospital. And i still live with her, and shes getting old. And it is going to be the hardest thing to deal wih if somthing happens to her. I kno i will be depressed, and i dont know if i will be able to handle it

Thank you so much for this video. Ive been down for the past few days.... In 3 days it will be three years ive been without my grandma. the worst part is the day she died was on my birthday. This poem meant a lot to me as i am sure it meant to a lot of people. I have written a lot of poems about my grandma since she died it is a good way to vent and cope with life and all the hardships we go through in our lives.

I wrote this poem for my Grandma who passed away in 2000. She had lived a long life and managed to touch my soul in so many ways. I have lost a loved one on my birthday as well. Have no doubt that we all share the same basic emotions each and everyday. To all of you who have lost your Grandma, cherish the memories you shared together and allow them to heal your soul. My favorite woman in the world, My Grams, passed away while I was across the world...:( So I did not get to say my final good byes. The only consolation I had was that she saw my youngest after being born and my Grams got the FIRST Smile! And we got it on film! Oh, how I miss her so!
