  • I swear i hear the loudspeaker say whiskey about 50 times

  • The one in red has the better "release' when she shoots.

  • I love how... looking at this, they seem to carry their bows like musicians :)

  • i cant believe how still they are!

  • THEY USE SOME BAD ASS BOWS

  • Elle est de combien la distance ?

  • me, too...

  • i see this sport awesome with proper outfits.

  • That was Hot!!

The French Woman is Angelic in form... The Russian Woman is Devilish in form...

But, either one would bring home the Game! ..And....I'm not just talking Wildlife.

  • Those are some small damn targets man lol.

  • no knee padding...and you wonder why that joke is overused.

  • is it nesecery to let your bow swing after a shot

  • @arowguy yes it can be actually

  • well done ladies

  • Id nail both them girls, they are hot :)

  • Legolas would have nailed those...

  • i like the way of the left archer pull the string

  • sexy loser

  • they were both good,,, but i love the Russian girl... she's so CUTE! peace... o_O

  • i just toke an arrow to the knee

  • @jurduijn skyrim's guardians ? xD

  • you can tell shes not russian because if she were the arrow would shoot her

  • the russian's eyes are piercing

  • Anyone know who the Russian archer is?

  • What is with all these "arrow to the knee" comments does any one that said that any more even play skyrim.

  • Is it wrong that I actively searched this video out just to look at the arrow in the knee comments?

  • @lemonsyay1 No, it isn't. It did the same, lol! Only I was going to say I used to be a prize quiver before I took a knee to the arrows, xD.

  • @lemonsyay1 is it wrong i wanted the hot one to win??

  • i never knew this existed... :O

  • All of a sudden I feel like shooting arrows!

  • W&W innox Rlz!

  • >==).....)==>

  • I used to be an archer like her...

  • How high are the draw weights on those bows? They look pretty light, but I could be wrong.

  • @zachchristiansen on indoor they might use lighter bows, maybe 35lbs

  • idk guyz but if ya have an archer girlfriend try not to piss her off...i still have scarz from the last one...

  • they shoot 18 or 25 meters?????

  • @hellascris 18 meters

  • @KagomeVocaloidfan135 ur such a dip ship they are using recurve bows and there is no such thing as a combo bow it's a compound bow.

  • very interesting

  • Finally, a long bow!! I think it's dumd to use combo bows for archery tournaments.. It's like making sports easier... :( Where's the good old longbows for sport? Combo bows are good for hunting... not games.... :(

  • @KagomeVocaloidfan135 First, what the hell's a combo bow?

Second, there're no longbows in this video :-s

  • Next up on the Boring Sports Network is Scandanavian Club Curling followed by The Ohio Bowling Championships live from Toledo.

  • good =)

  • you can always tell the chicks that are into archery because they were really into elves when they were 12.

  • where are the real bows?

  • @wilcaswell What do you mean real bows? Those are a reflex bows, a type of longbow.

  • @KELLERMANisBACK yeah King Henry V there real bows! not toys that being used in the video!

  • uhmm idk what you just said, can you rephrase that?

  • @KELLERMANisBACK silence infidel!

  • @wilcaswell ... again I have no idea what you are talking about. If you were asking about if they were any real bows and I just pointed out that they were a type of reflex bow and then you answer your own question which I have already answered... o,o lets just forget this all together

  • @KELLERMANisBACK really you don't know who King Henry the V was?

  • @wilcaswell No I do not sadly... I might if I return to history class and look around for it in my textbook... Most of my schools have only focused on the american side of history rather than the european side...

  • @KELLERMANisBACK Well in 1415 King Henry the V took 5000 English archers to Agincourt in France and wiped out 40,000 French in the space of 4 hours, the long bows they used ranged from 70lb to 150lb maybe more, the olympics archers (for lack of a better word) would not compared to an English archer from the 1100 to 1600 and they had none of this modern rubbish like sights on the bow like they do now.

  • @wilcaswell ok... that was an interesting history lesson for me o,o

  • I can out shoot all there guys with my hunting bow

  • @mannexx111 Blow me!

  • @GERLICHmr No but I will out shoot you with a hunting bow and make you look like the little faggy boy that you are.

  • @mannexx111 Cute.

  • Good song in 2:07 - 2:18! :)

    (name please?)

  • in russia bow shoots YOU!

  • that's hot. i want to learn archery.

  • is there an echo in the chat?

  • @DamJeu42 the fatboys she is using are actually lighter than Shuh's x10s. Recurve archers prefer feathers over vanes on fat arrows almost always, because they are very consistent and stable, they are also way more forgiving then vanes. But of course it's all about personal preference (as everything is in archery).

fewer and fewer high level recurve archers use fat arrows these days. I myself will continue shooting x10 throughout the winter to help guaranty the upcoming championships/world cups

  • what are that long pipe on the bow for?

  • i love the russian girl :P

  • @TzeechMarine I know she's sooo hooottt! Oh you were talking about her aim..........

  • @TzeechMarine

    ikr!!!

  • @1234poet what do you mean????

  • @TzeechMarine she's real life Lara Croft !!!! oO

  • I like playing archery but I like to learn more so I can reach olympic...can some one give me a nice tip....

  • Can anyone explain the Russian girls's arrows? They are much thicker then her competitor's and she has feather fletchings. I haven't shot for many years and I'm sure arrow technology has advanced. Why are her arrows so thick? I thought slim carbon arrows were the norm now. And are feather fletchings back in style??

  • @wobblefluff thick arrows tend to yield higher scores indoor. with a thicker arrow you're more likely to hit a line. She's using large feathers because these thick shafts weigh more than the thin ones of schuh. The fact that she uses feathers instead of vanes could relate to either clearance issues, or personal preference.

  • @DamJeu42 Thanks for your kind reply.

  • @DamJeu42 the arrows she uses are lighter then x10's. If you can pull off natural feathers, like hers, it just really helps with stability and arrow consistency... they are quite forgiving.

  • Russian girl is so pretty.

  • @tramiboa I love you for saying that.

  • I still prefer my PSE Dream Season Compound,

  • Can anyone say Katniss Everdeen?

  • @tramiboa haha i know right, thats why i started searhcing for archery

  • @tramiboa God bless you :D Hell yea!

  • @tramiboa That's exactly what I was about to say.And so, now I will say it.

    "Katniss Everdeen" ;p

  • @tramiboa, Katniss Everdeen! Can't wait till the movies. The book along with the Korean drama Sungkyungwan Scandal made me want to learn archery.

  • @tramiboa Got that right. March 2012

  • @tramiboa Just say Catnip Everdeen at least that is what Gale and I call her.

  • @tramiboa May the chances be EVER in your favor :D

  • 2:53 she's very beautiful!!!

  • Amazons :)

  • one titty

  • Russia never looked so good ........

  • nice 120 / 120 :)

  • FAKE

That CLEARLY is not a kitchen....

    .

    .

    Kidding :)

  • Dat Russian....

  • @Wiegieboard

    srsly.jpg

  • If there was a gun and archery fight, and I had the gun I would so run for my life if I was up against the blonde.

  • The Russian arrows seem twice as thick. Like Kalashnikov bullets^^

  • This reminds me of Practical Shooting. The guns should be those use for combat. No frills. But it become a competition of equipment because it become too sporty. An edge will make a winner and that comes in technology. Same with archery. So many technology that the bow they use in not anymore practical for actual combat purpose. Thgey shld limit the equipment but depend more on skill.

  • Anyone know what poundage these bows are?

  • @StealthFalco I would think that they could be 32 to 38 .in 18m (indoor) i use fatboy arrows with only 32 pounds and scored 552 ,full fita i use X10 and use 38 pound only.

  • @SuperBMW760i

The majority of the women pull around low to mid 40's, most of the professional shooters wont change poundage outdoor to indoor because if you can pull it easily for 144 arrows, 60 arrows is nothing...

  • @hoytYAMAHA

well you don't need 40 pounds indoor??i would think 32 pound is the very best one cause

1: you don't need alto of pounds

2:i don't want to get tried at the last 2 round

all in all I'm saying this so not to get tried in the last round and the next day.

(btw my brother is going to buy the tomcat carbon limbs do you think there great?)

  • @SuperBMW760i

The way most see it, if you can do it outdoors, why change it for indoors? if you shoot lower indoors your muscles will need to strengthen again before the next outdoor season.

  • @hoytYAMAHA

yes that is a realy good point. but anyways, next week i'm buying Hoyt Vicxen.

  • @SuperBMW760i i pull 40 pounds and next month is my countrys indoor and i think 40 is not that high, i feel very comfortable with them

  • @hoytYAMAHA man, my coach wants us to fire 300 daily, plus we never finish em LOL

  • why do i keep coming back to watch this... im addicted

  • @koolaidportal64 - your addicted to the russian chick mate

  • @masterkiter89 yeah...you know what... i think it is that

  • A number of people at our club prefer the line cutters (which the Russian is using) for their thicker shafts, but it just goes to show that technique and narrow arrows (presumably x10's?) work better.

  • the lady on the left has an interesting form :3 and it works :D

  • L arusse est vraiment belle

  • That's recurve FITA bow, but the most expensive is Compound Bow

  • im sorry but that russian girl is really fit

and achery is awsome, i practice and i really want a bow like the one they have

    they are SOOO nice

  • @DorusDomino no i know. it just seems that if they were really good. they wouldn't need weights and counterweights and sights and stuff. its like giving a cyclist a bike with an engine!

  • i can't help but think this isn't proper archery! just give each of thema long bow and see what they can do

  • Although I am an American and this is not obviously one of the US premier sports. I can still recognize the pageantry that is an All European Tournament....Would it freaking hurt for the MC/Announcer there to put on a suit and tie to show some measure of respect for the combatants and tournament?

  • What are the ladies names, I couldn't understand the announcer?

  • @nessagirl1911 French lady (with glasses): Bérengère Schuh.

    Pretty Russian: Tatjana Segina.

Source: comment of Robertito 2 months ago ^_^

  • @RachyyWebb92 they make a click sound..... Which tells u that you have pulled your string far enough to generate the intended amount of tension.

  • seeeeeeeee

  • lol what ... digital shot timers, but no digital score board :D

    Love the sport though

  • Amazes me how people with long bows can shoot an arrow through a wedding ring and others need all kinds of gimicks to make them capable of more basic archery

  • @SlayerofFiction Fantastic maybe we can get these guys to replace snipers in the military with their gimicky scopes.

  • @bertanderny differnt animal however I do tactical shoots with covers on my ar scope ;)

  • @SlayerofFiction LOL until I can see one of those "people with long bow" do 5 of those wedding ring shots in a row with my own eye, i'd hold on to the conviction that they are many trials/ one hit kind of shots. Those "basic archery" archers, on the other hand are all about consistency. If you correlate hitting areas, you'd see they are both pulling 1-1.5" groups at 20 yards, which is ridiculous. I doubt many ppl can do do that shooting offhand with scoped rifles

  • @trungnasa So go see not many can do it mainly because people are told tehy cannot. shooting 1.5 inch groups at 20 yards offhand with a scope is really nothing, look up NRA highpower. Hell doing a three inch group with a pistol at 20 yards isnt that big of a deal.

  • @trungnasa So go see not many can do it mainly because people are told tehy cannot. shooting 1.5 inch groups at 20 yards offhand with a scope is really nothing, look up NRA highpower. world record sniper kill shot is over 1500 yards. We shot clay pigeons at 1000 yards. Marine sniper qualification is 10 shots in a 10 inch area at 1000 yrds Hell doing a three inch group with a pistol at 20 yards isnt that big of a deal.

  • @trungnasa I personally have shot a .45 glock offhand out to 230 yrds pumping a mansized target, but for crazy awesome shooting look up Bob Mundan, Jerry Miculik, Tubbs.

  • I notice that they dont have a rear "Peep sight' .Does anybody know what type of sights they use,

  • Excellent shooting.

  • Excellent shooting,

  • This beats all the white-trash "hunting" videos showing animals being killed with arrows (and bullets).

  • Those "white-trash" need to eat.

  • impressive you hit a target with 20 ways to aim

  • My coach wants me to get competetive but whenever we try the sights I lose most of my arrows. I'm an instintive shooter, sights get in my way. Don't know how I can get competetive like this.

  • @vandaluu2 bare bow competition, that should do ;)

  • For me, the russian wins :D :D :D

  • what are their names!!

  • @robertito026

    The Russian is Tatjana Segina

    The France is Bérengère Schuh

  • whats the distance? is it a portsmouth?

  • whats the distance?

  • the with red pants her techniek is very bad she has lucky with the points because she is doing always the same thing

  • I'll take the Russian!

  • can they beat robin hood? no they can't......

  • much prefer barebow... but still some crazy shooting =]

  • meters and diameter of 10?

  • the hand and arm strength involved her leads me to believe they give a hellacious old fashioned !

  • HAHA 6:10 -It's too close to call, probably a ten.

*Guy in the audience* -IT'S A TEN!

  • I wonder how many things she's killed with archery...

  • wow a perfect score awesome very very awesome :))))))))))))) and btw all archery disciplines are difficult, require lots of practice , lots of skill and a whole lot of nerve so get a clue.

  • this widoe makes me to stop playing my archer in mmo and make a handmade bow and start archery.this is so great.....

  • @VICTORIAVIIA DO IT! I recently baught my 1st bow for 130 bucks and I love it! If you have a backyard there are videos on youtube that show you how to make your own target out of a trap and some plastic bags (that'll save you a few hundred bucks). It's so much fun! I can't wait to get home and fire a few arrows tonight!

  • wtf is up with these high tech bows? why not just use a regular wooden bow!!!!!!!!!!!! jesus christ its not even a fucking bow anymore look at it lol

  • @Scabia25 you dont even know how hard it is to shoot out of that kind of bow!!

  • I would say that the Russian is just as good if not better. Look at her arrows, I cant imagine the spine. And she takes at least half the time to concentrate, load, clip-in, draw, aim and shoot; than the French. Besides she's better looking, isn't that what counts?

  • Big arrow... Just like mine! LOL

  • They can't do archery those bows require no skill I want to se them do it with a long bow

  • @kylemonkeyiscool Lol, don't be retarded.

  • @kylemonkeyiscool: exactly... indoor shooting is poor.... no wind, no distractions easy, anyone can shoot a Portsmouth with a plastic bow....Try shooting a York with a longbow with a 25mph side wind...

  • @kylemonkeyiscool like on runescape?

  • @kylemonkeyiscool Wow you're clearly not shooting these bows at 70m...

  • @kylemonkeyiscool recurve requires just as much practice. they have to train in multiple different ways, it is sad how people make these ignorant comments on youtube.

  • 120 that is just great shooting.

  • Sorry, I usually make sure my comment is on subject with the video, but has anyone here ever got a reply to a comment you made months ago? Who, exactly, reads ALL the comments on a video? I've gotten replies when my comment was 4 pages back before. They make a special thing for these people called BOOKS.

  • why doesnt the other one have a booby protector too?

  • @boothesquirrel

    Implants

  • Small diameter arrows (X10) out scored the bigger diameter aluminum arrows....and a perfect score of 120! Great olympic round!

    I love this game!
