@Leilahorsey123 Yes you HAVE to be able to swim, its part of training. It's easy enough to build up your stamina (being able to tread water, swimming a certain amount of lengths etc) just keep going swimming :)

But if i have no floaty things on my then i cant swim : (( if feels scary and i feel like i am going to fall and drown. idk if swimming with float things works......idk. but yeah thats what i can do. do you know??

In canada you have to know at least two. If you only speak just english you can only do domestic flights.

In all reality a second language to fly international is a plus otherwise a most! When I graduated Breech Academy TWA/MCI in 1976 I was hired because I was language qualified in English/Spanish/Portuguese I flew mainly LIS/MAD/BCN it gave me many opportunities to hold good routes and under our contract at the time better pay! Great video! I have always been into commercial aviation, and would seriously consider becoming a FA were I not physically unfit for the job due to a disability. A cousin of mine is a FA for a major airline (not Continental) and I envy her. I think I have the personality for the job, just not the physical ability; in some alternate universe, I can see myself in such a video!

Great slideshow -- they've re-used it at other F/A graduations. Being a flight attendant is the greatest job in the world: part-time hours, full-time pay ($18/hr to start at CO) lots of travel (duh!) and a great company to work for. If you can survive the "junior years" you'll have a great career.
