im planing on gettin this kit, isnt the 20 x 20 bass drum too small? I like the sound of yours but is it loud enough? I hate the bass drums that are not able to go over the cymbalss ANSWER PLEASEE THANKS

@gastonbarker Yeah do it man! it's good the bass drum is mega punchy so it should cut through your cymbals :)

@TheDogfather94 i have the same kit but mines red with the black stripe which they are indeed great drums i would recomend. and shell pack mean you get the drums head it just means no stands or cymbals and usually no kick pedal but i bought mine used for $300

i'm not trying to be travis lol..

there are a few things i use from how travis sets up and a few things i dont..

like he has his cymbals stupidly high? - i dont

he has his rack tom really low and to the left - i dont.

he has his snare angled away from him i think which i dont see the point in?

and he has his hi hats really high, i like to have them medium so you can hit them with the tip of the stick aswell..

so yeaahh everyone decide for yourself what you think i don't care lol :)

i not long ago bought this kit, sounds killer once u break it in but im not that keen on the g1 coated heads it came with. Are you using evans ec2's? coz i was thinking about replacing mine with ec2's...your toms sound really full bodied...Do you use any dampening rings on your toms? cheers mate

Nah dude i didn't like the G1's either really so i got them changed to remo emperors. my toms and no dampening rings or anything.. it's just that my kit is like in the corner of my room basically so everything is abit dampened

yeah i think it's quite punchy and handy cause it fits in cars easier and is so much easier to lug around really.. did you get it in fusion sizes aswell?
