This video is a hot mess. you cant properly straighten black hair with a hot comb - any hot comb - in this one pass method. The hair has to be worked in sections. And you can see the stylist pulling the tool through the hair; just look at the veins popping out on her hand at 3:17
The way the lady describes the black hair is so offensive.. "you will need the highest setting with this hair because this hair is excessively coarse and curly" "watch those naps, they're exceptionally the hardest part" "pull that motherfucker down through the hair as far as you can take it"
im not convinced this comb is any good. they take a black woman whose has straighten/relaxed hair, thats not been combed out to demonstrate the ironing power? ridiculous. black women who use iron combs want to use the in unprocessed natural hair. otherwise they would just use a regular flat iron straightener.
WOW - they this is not a good testimonial. Looks like she's killing that poor woman. And please tell me why the narrator called African American hair a "challenge." It is NOT a challenge if the stylist had at least attempted to use the product before styling African American hair. They should go back to the drawing board on this one.
It's apparent the stylist was using the tool improperly on the course African-American hair. You can tell by the way she is blinking that her hair is being pulled out. I would think for course hair that is thicker a simpleton would know not to try and bring the small tooth straightener through the hair. If you use this on black hair, just straighten the roots.
@lpalmer22 yes she don;t know how to bo black people's hair bcuz on the white lady she did it the rigt wat, this is for blacks not whites, i agree with ur comment 1000%
