@stefiigalere at the time when we had that cage I thought it was the worst thing ever. But his new cage has a normal wheel attached to the bars and he likes to put his food in it and then run - making it like a horrible rattle >.< lol worth it though.

Hes really sweet. I had a pair o fgerbils that I had to tame it tool about 3 weeks but after a lot of spending time beside the cage, letting them get used to my voice and giving treats by hand they actually come up to me now.

As for names, the best thing to do is to google 'hamster names' and you'll get a huge list to choose from. Good luck!

Oh my god! I thought i was the only one with a hammie like that! haha, i have the same cage, and she brings the bedding up their. she does everything in that wheel. when she runs the bedding is like trailing behind her. Its horible to clean, all the poop, pee, food (which she was eating) sticks to the purple part. which is really gross to clean. Although if it makes her happy im happy:) very cute hammie:) i like the name too!

you riley need to get a bigger cage. as your Syrian gets older and bigger he/she will riley struggle with that cage I have that cage with a crittertrail mini link to it for my 2 dwarfs. but for my syrian i have a habbirtail ovo with a few little links and I highly recommend you get one of them for a Syrian. he/she we defiantly become more friendly and stop biting. Also you can link the cage you have now to a habbitrail ovo if you look on my vids it will show you how

The crittertrail was for my xmas from my mum and the box had said suitable for syrians. Ages ago we bought a new cage which is bigger because that cage was a bit teeny plus bandi is quite a large hammyham. He likes his new 2 story cage but whenever we put him in his hamster ball he runs to his old one and tries to get in it :( i think he liked the fact it was small and cosy and it made him feel secure. I think hes cool enough with da new one plus hes a lot more settled now. Biting has almost stopped!!! He loves being stroked and is now happy enough to b picked up (a wee trick ive used is to rub my hands in some of his sawdust so he knows the smell and thats made a BIIIIG difference. he loves being handled now and shows off by doing a "treadmill run" across ma hands lol. our bond is gd and he's grown waaaaay more confident and i kno soon ill b handlin him properly without any nasty bites ;)
