@nicolektrail i play also and im getting this computer and over the reviews i guess it would work fine without any texture packs or mods.may have a little lag.

Mine is just a shitty acer with practically no fucking sound. And when I try to stay on for more than an hour it fucking shuts off completely. The first day i got it, brand new, i opened it up and it had a virus! :D A few months later my parents went out of town for the weekend and my aunt and my little sister came over to watch the dog. Without my permission my mother let my little sister get on my laptop and fuck it up it now has2 50 new viruses on it. Acer? FUCK YOU

Looks like a great buy. I've had nothing but bad luck with HP's and Toshiba laptop's in the past. I'm still using my old Dell Inspiron 1505 Laptop that is 5yrs old.
