i don't know why guys like you have to spread so much hatred on a musicgenre.

i prefer death metal over deathcore anyday (although i like bands like Whitechapel, Beneath The Massacre,etc.) and i have friends that totally love deathcore - BUT that does not make them any wannabe-deathmetal-scenefags or less good friends with me....

i just respect their taste and that's all....fighting over tastes is stupid!!

In the case of Pierced from Within it is some Japanese fellow called Hiro Takahashi, but their front cover artist of choice was Dan SeaGrave, which made the frontcover of Effigy of the Forgotten which I think is even more incredible than this one. And I also share your excitement about these frontcovers, they are kind of an extra bonus when buying a Suffo record, but I must say that I dont like the frontcover of Blood Oath nearly as much as the earlier albums

Why are you judging a song's visceral nature based upon the solo's technicality (which is rather technical if you ask me)? Thats only a small piece in generating a musical atmosphere. Please take in the diminished patterns within this song, the atonality of the breakdown and the grind section at 2:07
