  • Love that Reefer car near the rear of the train, that was a very clever DTI herald!

  • @Conraildan Thanks! I actually plan on doing a couple more of those on the BLMA cars.

  • Nice work, the detail is excellent. What material did you use for thr road?.

  • @racerx1552 It's balsa wood. The seams are patched with plaster, as are the grade crossings. The street running was done the same way, and I just carved out the flange ways with a dremel. If you go to my facebook page, you'll see step by step progress photos.

  • lol it look pretty cool

  • Did you make the trees? If so, that might make a good how-to video. Also like the weeded track aproaching the street part. Really enjoy your videos.

  • @cthsemilw The trees are from JTT, an MRC company. Nice, aren't they? And the weeded track is just ballasted, and then I use static grass, applied with a Notch GrassMaster. Can't go wrong with that thing!

  • were you inspired to build this from inception? lol

  • @4godalone100 No way...too tacky! LOL. Real street running is way cooler!

  • Very Cool!!! I love street running!

  • Your street is looking very nice with the addition of trees, lamps people!

  • I'm a big fan of street running. You've done exactly what I'm planing on my layout. Great looking layout.
