I live in Los Angeles, California and you cannot buy any rum, cigars, artwork, books, clothing, or anything from cuba. While we trade with China and every other country in the world, we hold some sort of grudge against a country that has nearly 100 percent literacy of everyone and health care of babies or mortality rates of babies equal to that of the United States of America. This is remarkable for a latin american country. If I was in England or anywhere, I would buy as much rum as possible.
Oh look, this is a surprise - a load of Westerners praising the sort of system that they would dread to live under.
They are sitting there, criticising their regime - can the people of Cuba meet up openly and criticise their regime in such freedom? Of course not!
But what does that matter, when you want to feel fashionable, because Che Guevara just looked that damn cool.
