  • What's this got to do with his majesty Lord British?

  • @stnewton09 You're thinking about Richard Garriot. This is another Lord British, it's the pilot of the red ship. =)

  • I had no idea there exist Parodius 3. Glad I still have my SNES, I am finding this game :O

(You can just clip away some plastic to make SNES import-friendly :))

  • Oh DUH Gradius! Greatest shooter game of all time.

  • I can't believe I forgot what game this was based off of, I fail!!! I loved this game and yes it was for NES before SNES duh, like most games...

  • Excellent shooter indeed

  • nice intro and there are a lot of voices wich does not interrupt eachother soundchannel in the snes and the music is ass allway,s also oke, there are even scalable polygons and manny other special effects,

it become all possible thanks the sa1 chip.

it,s a voice synthersizer chip wich has also manny video capabilities like special effects and polygons etc, and it speedsup the snes to a massive 10mhz.

this game is a must have!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Are you able to expalin what the options on menu after you push start on the title screen translate to?

  • Actualy this is the 4th game in the series. The very first Parodius came out for MSX in 1988.

  • And the NES. So hopefully it'll be VC-ed.

  • The NES one is a version of Parodius Da! which is the second Parodius game. It came out on most systems.

  • Ah, I see.

Hopefully the MSX one will hit the VC then. JPN has just gotten it (MSX VC).

I still class this as Parodius 3 though, as IMO it's the SNES trilogy.
