  • I love watching Anton get all stoked in this.

  • what is the song at the very end?

  • @mothstevenson

    super sonic

  • dig this

  • cassette packaging was pretty hard to open lmao.

  • god peter hayes is so young in this haha

  • The problem with anton is that hes all 'I' and no 'We'. It was a joint effort by the band

  • It's nuts to watch them listen to sue right after they recorded it. The should be so much more popular!

  • I don't know how they recorded anything with Miranda Lee Richards in that house. I would be paralyzed.

  • more dig! extras?!!cmonnn mawn

  • It worked well, Give It Back Is a monumental album, Supersonic is an orchestral pleasure trip

  • give it back is my favourite bjm album

  • Incredible. I don't know how the guy does it. He's got a great group of people in that band, not taking anything away from them, but he is the head viking on that ship.

  • Awesome. I could watch Anton and company record like this all day.

  • I don't blame Anton for continually pushing his music into new terrain, but you gotta admit, everything the guy does/has done is fucking brilliant, and there's no reason why I can't cherish the older albums. Super Sonic is like, I dunno, it's like there was this kind of music, this sort of, sound of reaching nirvana, and he captured it.

  • ''another thing u might wana do that might be rippiiiiiiiiinnnn''

  • only band i know of that can change its members all the time and still sound amazing because of one person

  • fuk it looks lik a awesome house to record at!!! give it bak recorded in 5 days when they wer ment to just record a single,, fuken briliant,

  • They don't only record "Not if you were the last Dandy." They also record other songs. "Give It Back" is the album where they are all on.

  • I keep spoting Peter Hayes in Dig

  • peter hayes was a member of BJM at the time Give It Back was recorded.

  • if your radio's tuned 'here' then its tuned "RIGHT" ~'*'

  • cool fucking vid man

  • i miss the original line up. they were awesome

  • Fucking Awesome band

  • fuck me sideways! 5 days!:O

  • 5 days?? he's a fucking genius

  • not all of this was in Dig, a few little pieces, i wish there was more of clips like this, the writing and production of those amazing albums.

  • it's on the second disc in th especial features seconds I think.

  • "give it back"...the dogs!...

  • anton banging on the trash can at 0:57 is fuckin hilarious

  • lol 1:20-1:21

  • Does anyone know possibly from other videos, who Anton is unhappy with at 1:48?

  • :-o!!

  • genius at work

  • This should have been in dig. She really did edit to tell her story of good vs asshole.

  • This was in dig!

  • Comment removed

  • this is incredible footage of a manic creative genius in action. The album is badass from start to finish

  • I used to drive my bandmates hard like this also. Now I don't have a band.

  • what???

  • what the fuck??

  • 'give it back'the best from them.??..i say 'YES'

  • brian jonestown massacre=stunning

  • This just shows that Anton really wasn't the horrible person during this Dig! period that the final film portrays him as. He was an incredible songwriter, and I think that last thing sums it up so well. He just pushed his band. He wasn't being an asshole, there was a final product he and the rest of the band were reaching for, and because of Anton taking charge they were able to do an amazing record in an amazingly short period of time.

    It's just so incredible.

  • Watching Anton record is really inspiring, I think it should have been featured more prominently in DiG!. Especially this album; Give it Back is so insanely good.

My favorite part is when he's writing the lyrics to "Super-Sonic". That song is unbelievable.

  • I agree with it being in DIG! It shows another side of Anton, how he gets the band to create such fantastic music with his passion for the stuff, not through bullying.

ALthough it is my fave doco seeing bits like this balance it out a bit.

  • Peter Hayes looks lost :/

When he was with the BJM he really looked like a hippie...it's pity that he did'nt keep it with the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club...

  • actually, i prefer the leather jacket clad look much better. what says rock n roll better? if you want hippie, go look at the redwalls.

  • you sad man.
